In the ancient period represented by the Xia, Shang, and Wednesday Dynasties, China's slave society developed rapidly, and the social system was initially formed, and by the time of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, the area ruled by the Warring States Seven Xiongs was already very large. However, during the Xia and Shang dynasties, the area controlled by the rulers was still very small.
Only part of the hinterland of the Central Plains, the rest is in the hands of foreign tribes. One of them, a people called the "Ghost Fang", which fought frequent wars with the Central Plains Dynasty, was later verified to be the ancestor of the Turkic people who later crossed West Asia.

Through the records of the Zhou Yi, we roughly know that the area of the ghost fang is not large, and its location is roughly in the northwest of the Shang Dynasty, located in the central Shanxi region of China and the Jin-Shaanxi Plateau in the north of Shaanxi. During the reign of Wu Ding, the Shang Dynasty and the Ghost Fang experienced a three-year war, which must have been very fierce.
(2) After DNA testing, the ancestors of the ghost fang or Turks
The Ghost Fang was a very warlike and aggressive nation, the Shang Dynasty conquered it through three years of hard fighting with the Ghost Fang people, and later with the gradual strengthening of the strength of the Central Plains Dynasty, the foreign tribes were absorbed to varying degrees. Therefore, most of the Ghost Fang people should have been integrated into the Han nationality and become the common ancestor of the Chinese people.
However, there are still a small number of Ghost Fang people who have not integrated into China, but continue to live independently in The West Asian region. In 2006, tombs from the Western Zhou Dynasty were excavated in the area where the Ghost Fang people lived. Through DNA tests of the remains in the tombs, it was found that the people in this area were of mixed yellow and white race, similar to the Turkic peoples in the northwest of our country. Therefore, the Ghost Fang people may be the ancestors of the Turkic people who later crossed the West Asian continent.
Later, after historical evolution, the Turks also gradually divided into different races such as Turks, Turkmen, Kazakhs, and Russians, but their blood relations with each other were very close, and the Ghost Fang people may be their distant ancestors. These races are known as the "Fighting Nation", and their rugged and brash personality and love of conquest are also highly similar to those of the former Ghost Fang people.
