Jianmu is a bridge between man and god in the ancient myths of our country. Legend has it that fuxi, the yellow emperor and other ancient emperors all traveled to and from heaven and earth through jianmu. In the Huainan Zi [dì] Zhixun (淮南子墬[dì] Zhixun (淮南子墬[dì] 形訓), it is recorded: "Jianmu is in Duguang, and There is no scene in the middle of the day, there is no sound in the breath, and there is no sound in the heavens and the earth."
Do you yearn to travel between people and gods through jianmu? That kind of situation is simply "there are gods and immortals in and out"! According to well-informed sources, it must be because of population problems, and the rate of human reproduction is too fast and unrestrained. This leads to an increasing population. With the existence of Jianmu, more and more people in the human world can freely enter and exit the Celestial Realm. Eat and drink lazar everywhere in the divine realm. This must contradict the noble god of the celestial realm, and the most direct problem is the problem of cleanliness. Although the Celestial Realm is large, it is also limited, and even if it is cleaned, it may be a scattered immortal. How could such an unrestrained addendum be made. Therefore, the Heavenly Emperor ordered a limit on the number of heavenly places.
So the cultivators of the human world forcibly invaded the celestial realm, and the two sides even fought a big fight for this, triggering a war of gods. Later, the Fu Ren Clan secretly climbed up to the Celestial Realm through Jianmu and stole the Heavenly Emperor's fire, and since then human history has entered a new stage. Later, when the human world flooded, the carp that controlled the water also went from Jianmu to the celestial realm to steal the soil. Therefore, the Heavenly Emperor issued a decree ordering the Heavenly Soldiers to cut down the jianmu and cut off the passage between the heavens and the people.
Some people will say that the Heavenly Emperor is so careful with his eyes? Don't worry, I'll tell you another story: legend has it that in ancient times, people wanted to work together to build a tower that could lead directly to heaven, hoping to have direct face-to-face dialogue and communication with God. When God found out, he panicked, and in order to stop the human plan, he came up with an idea. He then asked the humans who built the tower to speak different languages from each other, so that humans could not communicate and the plan to build the tower died. Since then, human beings have scattered things. The story is based in Genesis chapter 11 of the Old Testament. This tower is called the Tower of Babel.
After everyone reads it, do you feel that the understanding of the Heavenly Court between the East and the West is somewhat similar? What is the reason for this? In ancient times, people's production technology and insight were much poorer than in modern times. People have an inexplicable sense of fear of the forces of nature, such as thunder, rain, electricity, wind, and fire. So they believe that these forces are controlled by a Supreme God, and they hope to establish a "harmonious relationship" with the Supreme God. In this way, although it is one thing to be able to control thunder, lightning, wind and fire, at least it can protect human beings from the greatest benefits in hunting and cultivating land.
How can we have a relationship with God in heaven? Certainly, we can't expect God to take the initiative to come down to mankind. Only human beings can find a way to go to heaven. When people see the towering mountains and the trees that plunge straight into the clouds, people suddenly wonder, will there be a way to the heavenly court? Are those peaks, those trees, a road to the heavenly court? So there are myths and legends such as Jianmu and The Tower of Babel.
In the recently discovered Guanghan Sanxingdui, a bronze sacred tree has been unearthed, in which there are branches, flowers, fruits, birds, beasts, hanging dragons, god bells, etc. Experts believe that the prototype of this sacred tree is likely to be the legendary Jianmu.
Therefore, whether it is Jianmu, or the Tower of Babel, or even the magic bean vine, it is full of a vision of human beings, hoping to control the mysterious power, so that wind, rain, thunder, and electricity no longer threaten the survival of human beings, but become a tool for human beings to change the living environment.
