Practicing the design concept of green optical cables, the revised national standards led by China Xinke passed the review

Recently, China Information Technology Co., Ltd. led the revision of the national standard GB/T 18899 "All-medium Self-supporting Optical Cable" submitted for review through the National Communications Standardization Technical Committee (TC485) review, into the approval stage, will vigorously promote the domestic all-medium optical cable technology upgrade, quality improvement and green design and manufacturing, and promote the further healthy development of the optical cable industry.

The current effective version of GB/T 18899 "All-Media Self-Supporting Optical Cable" was first released in 2002. In the past 20 years, the optical cable production process, structural design and material technology have undergone leapfrog development, and the design concept and technical requirements in the original standard can no longer fully meet the current product application needs. Receiving the task of the National Standards Committee, China Xinke as the lead unit to carry out the revision of the standard, organized the optical cable manufacturing enterprises, third-party testing agencies, power / communication users and design institutes to set up a standard drafting working group, the scope of application of the standard, product form, key technical requirements and work progress have been seriously studied, and the application scenarios, technical indicators, environmental indicators, and product testing indicators of optical cables have been extensively investigated, providing sufficient basic support for the preparation of the standard.

The revision of the standard, combined with the national standards and regulations and industry development trends, to minimize the consumption of energy resources, minimize the impact of the ecological environment, maximize the renewable rate of the principle, in the product design and development stage, the system fully considers the raw material selection, production, sales, use, recycling, treatment and other aspects of the impact on resources, the following three aspects have been improved: (1) the application scenarios of optical cables are distinguished, divided into overhead transmission pole towers and communication pole towers with self-supporting optical cables, To avoid excessive quality design; (2) the technical indicators were classified and graded, and the self-supporting optical cables for light small-span overhead were introduced; (3) in the scope of raw material selection, the chemical anti-rat materials that are harmful to the environment were abandoned, and the green environmental protection scheme of the physical anti-rat non-metal rod armored self-supporting optical cables was proposed, and the green design concept of the optical cable was practiced. After extensive online solicitation of social opinions, offline fully listen to the suggestions of industry experts, the standard review draft that took 1 year to complete was unanimously approved, laying a solid foundation for the green design and manufacture of all-media self-supporting optical cable products.

China Xinke actively responds to the implementation of "Made in China 2025", adheres to innovation as the first driving force for leading development, continues to promote green manufacturing, builds a green digital factory, leads the upgrading of optical cable products to the green and low-carbon development direction of efficiency, cleanliness, intensification and circulation, and steadily promotes the development of the optical cable manufacturing industry in a safe, low-carbon and sustainable direction. China Xinke's fiberhome outdoor optical cable GYTA, GYTS, ADSS, OPGW and other 12 products have passed the green design product evaluation organized by the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, fully escorting the green and low-carbon economy and contributing more to the completion of the national double carbon target.
