At the same time, the information and communication industry, led by "new infrastructure", has made all-round efforts in seven major areas, including 5G base station construction, UHV, intercity high-speed railway and urban rail transit, new energy vehicle charging piles, big data centers, artificial intelligence, and industrial Internet, to promote the high-quality development of the digital economy and promote the digital transformation of the economy and society. As one of the main equipment suppliers and comprehensive telecommunications solution providers in China's communication infrastructure construction, Fiberhome has made many contributions in the above fields in combination with its own industrial advantages.

"New infrastructure" on wheels

Entering the era of "new infrastructure", the organic combination of railway and communication transmission network has become an inevitable trend. However, the construction of railways often needs to cross special geological areas such as mountains, rivers, and gobi, and the railway communication system requires that the optical cable trunk line must be laid along the railway line, and the harsh use environment poses a huge challenge to optical fiber communication. In the face of harsh application conditions, Fiberhome repeatedly conducts temperature cycle experiments and develops new protective materials that maintain good performance under high temperature and cold conditions. During construction, steel belt armoring, double layer protection and other ways are used to ensure that the optical cable can still maintain excellent communication performance under the condition of direct burial laying, in addition to coping with the vibration generated by the train when driving, to ensure the normal operation of the optical fiber.

It is worth mentioning that when Fiberhome won the bid for the Yuma Railway Optical Cable Procurement Project in 2021, it tailored an all-dry flame retardant optical cable known as an "aneulum-free optical cable" for it. The product replaces the large amount of fume paste with dry water-repellent materials in the loose sleeve and core of the optical cable, which can not only improve the flame retardant performance of the optical cable, but also greatly reduce the smoke generated by the optical cable when it encounters fire, and increase the light transmittance by 40%. In addition, the fully dry flame retardant optical cable is easier to peel when the construction is connected, there will be no ointment flowing out to pollute the construction environment, and there is no need to clean the ointment to generate additional garbage, which achieves green environmental protection; the fiber optic cable is wiped free of charge, which can greatly save time and reduce the construction cost when making joints and connections; the unit weight of the optical cable is reduced by an average of 10%, making transportation and construction more convenient. In addition, another fully dry field cable has been developed, which successfully removes the fiber optic cable paste that is very harmful to the environment while ensuring the same performance.

Over the years, Fiberhome has successively undertaken the construction of major national railway projects such as the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the Wuhan-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, the Shanghai-Kunming High-Speed Railway, the Lanxin Second Line, the Hefu High-Speed Railway, and the Guizhou-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway. The "double gigabit" network represented by 5G and gigabit optical networks is the "two wings" and "double wheels" that are indispensable for the construction of manufacturing power and network power, an important component and bearing base of new infrastructure, and plays an important role in driving effective investment, promoting information consumption and helping the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry.

In 2019, Fiberhome released the four major concepts of "ubiquitous, ultra-wide, open, and on-demand" smart optical networks, providing strong support for responding to digital transformation. In 2020, Fiberhome brought operators a new model of NaaS network operation through the three major upgrades of "capacity, operation and experience" of the intelligent optical network.

In 2021, the three-dimensional architecture of "three layers and three sides" of the intelligent optical network is systematically defined. In 2021, Fiberhome has reaped fruitful results in promoting the digital transformation of the industry, based on a ubiquitous, ultra-wide, open and on-demand smart optical network, bringing the ultimate business experience to everyone, every family and every organization. In Guangxi, China Unicom and China Unicom completed the pilot work of China Unicom's first end-to-end cross-vendor service automatic opening pilot in Nanning, Guangxi, which effectively shortened the opening time of OTN services such as government and enterprise boutique networks, and provided differentiated and ultimate service experience for industry users. In Beijing, we worked with Beijing Unicom to build a smart dedicated line, serving more than 700,000 enterprises and 20 million people in Beijing through simplified configuration and intelligent operation and maintenance, and providing an intelligent all-light base for the 2022 Science and Technology Winter Olympics and Green Winter Olympics. In Shanghai, we will cooperate with Shanghai Telecom to innovate research and practice, cooperate to develop ultra-low latency products, and provide a large number of financial customers and Internet companies with zero waiting, zero contact and zero interruption network service experience by building a low-latency dedicated line directly to domestic and international trading centers. In Guangdong, we worked with Guangdong Mobile to complete the first commercial deployment of the 200G QPSK, empower the industrial digital transformation of the Bay Area by creating an interconnected all-optical digital bay area, promote manufacturing to "intelligent manufacturing", and become an important transportation hub and trade logistics center of the Maritime Silk Road. In order to alleviate the impact of urban waterlogging, Fiberhome has built a "waterlogging fast place" application based on the perception ability of the urban brain, and comprehensively uses big data and AI analysis capabilities to identify the city's water-prone areas and form a city-wide waterlogging risk map. Whenever meteorological early warning information is received, the city brain combines the rainfall forecast and conducts risk analysis, which can intervene in advance, notify the corresponding jurisdictions and relevant units to guarantee in advance, and synchronously push travel warnings to the people near the waterlogging point. For the waterlogged area, the relevant business departments are notified to carry out drainage, dredging, and necessary traffic control, real-time monitoring of accidents caused by waterlogging, tracking the progress of accident disposal throughout the process, and entering the disposal results into the historical knowledge base for later analysis and call.

In 2021, for the construction of Wuhan's smart city, Fiberhome focused on data governance, strengthened the breadth and depth of data collection, established a long-term working mechanism for government data quality management, improved 7 basic databases such as population and legal persons in Wuhan, and built 17 thematic databases such as government services, people's livelihood services, and economic operations, further consolidating the urban data base.
