Han Zhijun was born in Shanxi, where there have been warlord melee, the people live in the depths of the water, although Han Zhijun's hometown is not affected because of its remote location, but the ancestors have been trapped in the local area for generations, few people can go out of this mountain, to see the vast world outside.
Han Zhijun's father did not want his daughter to be unable to walk out of the mountains in her lifetime, so she collected all the expenses and sent her daughter to the middle school in the county to study, fortunately, Han Zhijun did not live up to her father's expectations, successfully passed the examination, and received a formal education. Han Zhijun studied and worked hard, and at the same time, because of her excellent performance, she was specially approved by the school to participate in drama performances, often dressed as men, played the role of some boys, and sang praises to the common people turning into slaves, which was loved by the masses, and later she often followed the cultural troupe to perform condolence performances.
In 1948, in the process of a condolence performance, Hua Guofeng on the stage, all eyes were attracted by the han zhijun who dressed as a man on the stage, although he did not find the right opportunity to talk, but when the fate came, he cut it continuously. Soon after, Han Zhijun's uncle introduced the two young people to each other.
When they first met, Han Zhijun had a very strong affection for the hero of this hometown, because in her impression, she hoped that her future husband would stand up to the sky like a father, coupled with the common pursuit of revolution, it resonated spiritually, recognized each other's company, and in less than a month, decided to enter the palace of marriage, and finally the two held a simple and warm wedding in the canteen of the organ.
After marriage, the two came to Hunan together, Hua Guofeng worked in Hunan for more than 20 years, Han Zhijun took care of his family at the same time, but also devoted himself to the revolutionary cause, conscientiously completed his work, and Hua Guofeng has been supervising progress. The two returned home after work to discuss work, perpetuating the enthusiasm for throwing themselves into the revolution. Later, Hua Guofeng was transferred back to Beijing because of his excellent performance, and Han Zhijun moved with his family with four children, and only then did he stabilize in Beijing.
Soon after, Hua Guofeng was appointed as the new president of the country, and Han Zhijun naturally became the first lady, she was not proud of it, but maintained the same hard and simple style as always, not to add any trouble to the organization, not to seek personal interests for herself or her family. Usually going to work at the unit, she can already enjoy the treatment of special cars, refused this arrangement, and chose to ride a bicycle to work like an ordinary worker.
Like Hua Guofeng, Han Zhijun hopes that the children will do things in a down-to-earth manner and dedicate their own strength to the new China, so she will not use her husband's authority to arrange work for the children, but let the children rely on their own abilities and give full play to their strengths, and the family will live a plain and simple life.
After Hua Guofeng retired from the central government in 1981, the couple came to the vicinity of Zhongnanhai and found a small courtyard to spend their old age. Because of Hua Guofeng's poor physical condition in his later years, Han Zhijun would carefully cook for him every day to mix nutrition, prepare some milk and coffee for breakfast, make local pasta in Shanxi for lunch, and dinner was simple porridge, three meals a day, coarse tea and light rice.
The two old people are very close and easy-going, amiable, from the young age to the white hair, dedicated their lives for the new China, this kind of revolutionary martyr is very worthy of our respect, and Han Zhijun has always been low-key and simple, never extravagant and wasteful, for her she does not need to live a life of how rich, as long as she is happy and healthy with her family is enough. This year, Han Zhijun is 90 years old, still in good health, and is a model for my generation!
