Hua Guofeng's life is hard and glorious, and his contributions to the country are numerous, such as when he was working in Hunan, he adopted three children with disabilities and gave them warm care. Even if he was later transferred to Beijing, he was usually busy at work, he was always thinking about these three daughters, and his heart was very fraternal.
So, after so many years, how did the three daughters he adopted fare afterwards?
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Due to its geographical location and traffic congestion, Xiangtan, Hunan Province, was still very backward in economy, and the people's living conditions were very difficult. In this case, Chairman Hua Guofeng went there to serve as the secretary of the county party committee, vigorously promoted the development of the local area, and during this period, adopted three girls.
At that time, some people in Xiangtan were still very feudal in their thinking, so they preferred sons to daughters, and after giving birth to female babies with disabilities, they were reluctant to continue to raise them. When Hua Guofeng was serving in the local area, he encountered three homeless baby girls, so he took pity on them and picked them up and brought them home.
One morning in July 1951, as usual, he and the guards were walking along the Xiang River, and the surrounding area was very quiet, faintly, and it seemed that he heard the cry of a baby. Following the faint sound, they walked to the county people's hospital, and near the main entrance of the hospital, they saw a basket with children.

The baby in the basket, as if realizing that she had been discarded, kept crying, and on her body was a note with her date of birth. When Hua Guofeng confirmed that no one around him claimed it, he pity and helplessly carried the baby back to the guest house. Later, after careful observation, he found that the baby girl was blind.
Hua Guofeng was very distressed about the little baby, he did not know whether the child's biological parents had any difficulties, but he felt that the child was innocent in any case, and there was nothing wrong with it.
After some careful consideration, he wanted to adopt the child. At that time, he and his wife Han Zhijun had already had two children, and if they wanted to adopt a child, it was not a trivial matter, so they needed to ask their wives what they thought.
Han Zhijun is also an excellent woman, and after listening to her husband's description, she did not hesitate to agree to adoption. Since the child was seen on the side of the Xiang River, the couple named her Hua Xiang.
Three months later, Hua Guofeng went to the theater to see a play, but unexpectedly picked up an 8-year-old girl on the lawn in front of the theater, who was very thin due to long-term malnutrition.
At that time, she had been hungry for many days in a row, crying on the lawn, and after questioning, she learned that she was living on the streets and homeless after the death of her parents. Hua Guofeng was very sympathetic to the little girl, and also adopted her as his own dry daughter, because she picked it up on the lawn, he named her Hua Ping.

After another two months, Hua Guofeng picked up a little girl again at the door of a tea house in the county, she also suffered from eye disease, Hua Guofeng felt that she was very pitiful, so he took her home and named her Huaqing, hoping that she would grow up to be like Qingcha, light and strong.
Adopting three children is not a small pressure, Han Zhijun takes care of so many children, it seems inadequate, so under the arrangement of the organization, the three children were sent to the county party committee guest house. Hua Guofeng said that he picked up the child, so he paid half of the cost.
He was very upset with the children, and whenever he had time, he would go to see them with candy or new clothes and find a specialist to treat them for eye diseases. And after he was transferred from work, he often communicated with the children.
Care, encourage, teach them, and hope that they can have a better life.
After the three sisters grew up, Huaqing was admitted to the Xiangtan Social Welfare Comprehensive Processing Factory through unremitting efforts and was able to support himself. Her eye disease was delayed for too long, and the treatment effect was not ideal, but she could still grope for such results on her own, which made Hua Guofeng very happy. Not only that, during the period of huaqing's work in the factory, it was also rated as a model worker in the province by virtue of its diligent and excellent performance.
Hua Xiang and Hua Ping are also workers, and they can all be self-reliant and very strong in the case of disabilities. And more importantly, under the sincere teaching of Hua Guofeng, they all have excellent character and a positive life heart, which is the best reward for kindness.
