Tesla's official charging account shared the news on Twitter. Although the Tesla charging station was installed and put into service prior to its release, it is not open to the public, but exclusively serves Larry Ellison, a member of the company's board of directors and owner of much of the island.
Since the United States is Tesla's homeland, there are 40.85% (or 12,325 charging stations) in the United States, and this number continues to grow. In 2022, Tesla also plans to continue to increase the number of superchargers worldwide, and expects an increase of 31%, and Tesla will also provide the United States with the third largest financial assistance after Europe and China.
In addition, the United States is also Tesla's largest market, and as its Texas factory is completed, tesla's number of vehicles on U.S. roads will grow significantly.
