Su Shi's original wife was named Wang Fu, and when they became relatives, Su Shi was nineteen years old, while Wang Fu was only sixteen years old. Su Shi and Wang Fu were in love and affection, but unfortunately, such a couple could not grow old in vain. In 1065, Wang Fu, who was only twenty-seven years old, died of illness, and this sudden blow caused Su Shi to grieve.
In 1075, ten years after Wang Fu's death, Su Shi remembered his beloved wife, sad and unbearable, and his thoughts were difficult to suppress, so he wrote this "Jiang Chengzi", which became a classic masterpiece that has been recited through the ages.
"Ten years of life and death are two unknowns", that night, Su Shi dreamed of his long-dead wife. Carefully calculated, it has been ten years since the death of his wife, and in these long years, the two of them are eternally separated from each other, and they are very far apart from each other. "Don't think about it, it's unforgettable", Su Shi did not deliberately miss Wang Fu, but Wang Fu had long become a part of his life, and he couldn't forget it if he wanted to.
In countless sleepless nights, Wang Fu's voice and smile would always unconsciously appear in front of Su Shi's eyes.
Whenever this happened, Su Shi would think of the lonely tomb in Pengshan County, where his wife was buried. "Thousands of miles of lonely graves, nowhere to say desolate", but there is too far away from the writer, I don't know if my wife is lonely and lonely. Since Wang Fu's death, Su Shi also had a feeling of desolation in his stomach, but he could not tell his wife.
"Even if you don't know each other, the dust is full of face, and the sideburns are like frost", Su Shi thought of his bumpy encounters in the past ten years, and couldn't help but issue such an exclamation at the end of shangyi. In the midst of the eunuch's ups and downs, he was degraded again and again, and he was no longer the spirited teenager, but a dusty, white-haired haggard look. Such a self, the wife is afraid that it is difficult to recognize it again. Here, Su Shi not only expressed his thoughts about his deceased wife, but also expressed his feelings about his life experience.
The beginning of the next question is, "Night came to the dream of suddenly returning home, Xiaoxuan window, is dressing", in the dream, Su Shi dreamed that he returned to his hometown, saw his wife sitting under the small Xuan window, is grooming. The title of this word is "Night Memories Dream", and this passage is exactly what Su Shi saw in his dream.
Next, "there is no word for each other, only a thousand tears", according to common sense, long-term reunion should be happy, there are endless words. However, Su Shi said that he had nothing to say, not because he had nothing to say, but because he had too much to say and did not know where to start. Only a thousand lines of tears reflect the bitterness and hardship after the death of the two people.
Finally, "it is expected that the intestines will be broken every year, the bright moon night, and the short Matsuoka" is Su Shi's conjecture of his deceased wife, and he feels that his beloved wife, who is buried in the ground, will also be cut off every year because he misses himself in the place where he is buried. Bright moon night, short Matsuoka, just 6 words, it creates a poignant and mournful mood, which makes readers moved.
Chen Shidao, a writer of the Northern Song Dynasty, commented on Su Shi's poem: "There is sound that should be through the heavens, and there are tears that should be thoroughly springed."
