01 AI manufacturers can't do it
Why does Xiaobu work?
At the 2021 World Artificial Intelligence Conference Artificial Intelligence Governance Forum, the "Shanghai National New Generation Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Development Pilot Zone Social Experiment Work Plan" was released, and Wang Youqiang, executive director of Shanghai Tsinghua International Innovation Center, on behalf of the main member units of the program, interpreted the program, and carried out four scenario application experiments at the current landing level of the program, namely medical diagnosis auxiliary decision support, application expansion with the application of shen code, application system for the elderly intelligent service and face recognition, and in four application scenarios, Guidance is provided for each item.
Among them, the "Xiaobu" AI doctor of the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University is the "doctor representative" of the scene of medical diagnosis auxiliary decision support.
Unlike those AI that will interfere with the doctor's judgment, the positioning of Dr. Xiaobu is to help the doctor play "assist", it is silently embedded in the outpatient system, when the doctor finishes typing the medical record, click the "intelligent diagnosis" button, it will pop up several diagnoses from it on the edge of the screen, you can also ignore the "Xiaobu" and enter the diagnosis yourself. Such AI truly meets the needs of doctors.
At present, after the study of more than 9 million medical records, the diagnosis consistency rate of doctors "Xiaobu" has reached 96.2%, covering more than 7,000 diseases.
Wang Youqiang describes the relationship between doctors and "Xiaobu" as "1 + n", "1" is a doctor, his wisdom is limited, and "n" can learn the wisdom of human doctors through technology, theoretically, "n" is infinite.
While artificial intelligence continues to make breakthroughs in technology, it needs to pay attention to the ethics of artificial intelligence. Professor Wang Guoyu of the Department of Ethics at Fudan University asked Xiaobu's team many related questions, such as "Did you inform patients of the existence of Dr. Xiaobu?" How to avoid AI interference with doctors' judgment? These problems make "Xiaobu" more humanistic care from ethics while the technology is strong.
Artificial intelligence is a technology, according to its application of different fields, the form and content will be different, Wang Youqiang said, hope that in the evaluation and summary of the successful experience of pediatric hospital "Xiaobu" AI doctors at the same time, it can also be summarized into a generalizable model, used in other areas of artificial intelligence applications.

On this basis, Wang Youqiang put forward new insights on the AI to be done by Shanghai Tsinghua International Innovation Center: "What we want to do is the square of AI. "It's both Artistic Intelligence and Applied Intelligence, to be an artificial intelligence that can be really applied."
According to Wang Youqiang, at present, Shanghai Tsinghua International Innovation Center serves the key strategies of the country and Shanghai, and is committed to building five major areas, namely integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, digitalization, double carbon, and design.
On October 26 this year, Shanghai Tsinghua International Innovation Center, Inspur (Beijing) Electronic Information Industry Co., Ltd. and Muxi Integrated Circuit (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. jointly established a joint laboratory for advanced computing architecture in data centers.
