Aston Martin F1 Team is undergoing a massive recruitment campaign, with former McLaren team coach Martin Whitmarsh joining the team, who is the team's most high-profile signing to date, and Safner has previously said it is not a direct threat to his position, but he still has doubts about his future and now his departure has been confirmed.

In a statement, Aston Martin thanked Safner for serving the team for 12 years, adding that the current management team allows them to "take a moment to explore options before announcing the new team structure." ”

Safnar has been a part of this team since 2009, when it was known as "Force India", and since then, Safner has played an integral role in the team's ever-improving performance.

In 2012, Force India broke the 100-point mark in a single season for the first time, and in 2015, Sergio Perez made his first P3 podium at the Russian Grand Prix, and in the end, the team finished P5 in the constructors' standings. With their partnership with Mercedes, they rose to P4 over the next two seasons. Back in 2014, Safner played a key role in ensuring negotiations using Mercedes-powered from that quarter.

After the team's funding dried up, Lawrence Stoll bought the bankrupt Force India team, with Safnar remaining at the helm, with the team achieving better results in 2020 under the new name of the race point and winning the race by Perez at the Sakhir Grand Prix.

For the 2021 season, with Lawrence's investment in the luxury automaker, Race Point was renamed Aston Martin.
