Kangxi visited Aobai without any notification, and went directly to Aobai to greet him. As a result, Aobai was caught off guard by Kangxi's sudden visit, so much so that the knife hidden around him was accidentally revealed.
When they saw this scene, everyone present was very nervous, especially the guards, who squeezed a handful of sweat incomparably, so close that it was easy for Ao Bai to hurt Kangxi. In fact, although Aobai was arrogant, he had no intention of killing Kangxi, but the situation in front of him was somewhat embarrassing.
Soon, Kangxi broke this embarrassment, and the wise Kangxi shook Aobai's hand and said, "Manchu warriors, they can't leave the blade, this is the true color, Shaobao has not forgotten the book." ”

As for zhijiao Aobai, the Qing History Manuscript Shengzu Benji describes it as follows: In May of the eighth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, "Peng Shen, the emperor arrested the auxiliary minister Aobei jiaoting. Shangjiu Xi'aobai was arbitrary and chaotic, and he was particularly worried about his many strengths and difficulties, so he chose the guards and the young and powerful people of Tang'a as a punching scene. On that day, when the Ao worshiped, he ordered the guards and others to carry it. Therefore there is a system of good camps, and the close subjects lead it."
In fact, no minister can show the sword in front of the emperor, which is undoubtedly a contempt for the imperial power, and no emperor can tolerate it.
