Möngke also attracted the attention of a well-known assassination organization called "Assasin", a radical and belligerent organization founded by the Persian Hassan Sabah, also known as the "Old Man in the Mountains", who used the al-Alamat Castle in the Delem Mountains northeast of the persian city of Qazvin as its base, which the world called the "Eagle's Nest".

As for the outcome of Möngke, it is also beyond the imagination of all Westerners, after Möngke inherited the Khan's throne, he was indeed ambitious, and successively sent the kings to conquer West Asia, the Eastern Expedition to Goryeo, and the expedition to Dali, and then divided into two roads, attacked the Song Dynasty in a big way, and when attacking the diaoyu city in present-day Chongqing, it could not be attacked for a long time, and it has been fought for 36 years, and Möngke died here, so his brother Hulegu's western expedition was forced to stop, and the diaoyu city was also praised by Europeans as "God's whip".
Later, the Diaoyu City Defenders would take the inability to slaughter the city as a condition, which ended the resistance and Kaesong lowered the Yuan.
