But this is only a TV series made up for the needs of the plot, but the truth of history is not like this.
The truth is that Wu Liangfu pretended that he was the chief eunuch of the harem, and that he had Ao bai as a patron, did not take kangxi who had just ascended the throne in his eyes, acted as a blessing in the harem, punished and scolded the eunuch palace women at will, did not take the palace rules and regulations seriously, and was so arrogant that even Su Ma Lagu dared to reprimand him, and pointed fingers and feet in front of Kangxi all day long, saying that he was serving Kangxi at the will of Ao Bai, and this attitude of death was so dead that Kangxi gritted his teeth in hatred.

All of this was seen by Empress Xiaozhuang, but did not attack until after the fall of the Shunzhi Emperor, Kangxi succeeded to the throne, and Wu Liangfu turned to Aobai to monitor Kangxi, completely angering Empress Xiaozhuang.
Coincidentally, once when Wu Liangfu stole valuable items from the palace in order to give Ao Bai a birthday, he was just caught, and when Kangxi saw that the opportunity to dispose of Wu Liangfu had come, he was punished with the crime of stealing the items in the palace, and originally wanted to give him some color, that is, knowing that Wu Liangfu even when he was on the board, he also called for Gan Daddy Ao bai to come to save him, and Kangxi listened to it more angrily, let people beat him hard, and beat him to death.
Ao Bai in the palace learned that Wu Liangfu had been killed, and knew that Kangxi was killing chickens for himself, but because this was a matter of the harem, he had no right to interfere, so he could only eat and die.
In February of the first year of the Kangxi Dynasty, the imperial court issued an edict that Wu Liangfu would change the old system of the ancestors, embezzlement and bribery, and dozens of other crimes would be handed over to the Ministry of Punishment, and several crimes would be issued at the same time, and Wu Liangfu would be finished.
