The Municipal Education Bureau issued the latest guidelines to make it clear that in order to facilitate students to enroll in the nearest school, the planning of residential areas should be reasonably arranged for educational facilities, in principle, the walking time of primary schools should not exceed 10 minutes, and the walking time of junior high schools and nine-year schools should not exceed 15 minutes. Regarding the scale of construction, the primary school does not exceed 45 students per class, and the total number of students does not exceed 2,000. The number of students in junior secondary schools shall not exceed 50 per class, and the total number of students shall not exceed 2000. Senior secondary schools do not have more than 50 students per class. In nine-year schools, there are no more than 45 students per class in the primary school stage and no more than 50 students per class in the junior high school stage, and the total number of students does not exceed 2500.
