In the Battle of Huaihai in the Liberation War, guo Rujie actually sent a secret telegram at a critical moment, and the Kuomintang general Du Yuming questioned him before his death, asking him if he was an agent of our Communist Party of China.
First of all, let's introduce Comrade Guo Rugui, Guo Rugui is a native of Tongliang County, Sichuan, and is also the current Chongqing Tongliang, born in 1907, the family is considered to be a scholar, and there have been many celebrities in the ancestors, from a young age, Guo Rugui learned a lot of cultural knowledge and life principles with the help of his family.
After the outbreak of the May Fourth Movement, Guo Rugui was also deeply affected and began to have an infinite yearning for socialism, and during his school studies, Guo Rugui was also a "restless" lord, and he organized and led students to participate in the student movement against the implementation of feudal education on many occasions.
Later, Guo Rugui chose to join the army, in fact, it had a lot to do with his cousin Guo Rudong, Guo Rudong was the division commander of the Sichuan Army, under his influence, Guo Rugui decided to join the army, and later he was admitted to the Whampoa Military Academy and became a student of the fifth period, and at this time he also began to come into contact with Marxism.
Unexpectedly, Chiang Kai-shek soon betrayed the revolution and launched a "counter-revolutionary" incident, which also completely marked the rupture of the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, and in fact, at this time, Guo Rujie was already thinking of joining the Communist Party of China, but for some reasons he did not enter, and did not officially join our party until May 1928.
After that, Guo Rugui was sent to Japan by his cousin to study, but he also lost contact with our party, and it was 1931 when Guo Rugui returned to China again, and then Guo Rugui was admitted to the Kuomintang Army University, but he did not expect to be valued by Yang Jie and reused.

It was 1980 that Guo Rugui was again approved to join the party, and on October 23, 1997, Guo Rugui unfortunately died in a car accident at the age of 90.
