Text/Lin Mang

Sometimes, the pigeons of the neighbor fall on my windowsill

Grunt softly

The big poplar tree at the window was unconsciously taller

Four-storey roof

They flew back around the canopy of those trees

The sun was so gentle on the fluffy feathers

Life day after day

I tend to come back from the street empty-handed

Throw books and blouse on the bed

The days passed in a hurry

I often can't bring anything back

Even if you are away from home for a few days

Only you and this little house are left

Life is day in and day out

In the face of silent tacit understanding

We have become accustomed to tolerance with each other

A pair of pigeons cooed softly on the windowsill

They belong to us in many moments

Day after day

Dust fell on the spine of the book and gradually turned yellow

If life is always giving

That might be another matter

I know that the inadvertent request is not excessive

I know that summer is turning to autumn

Maybe after a night rain, the leaves will fall

It's not about going back to the deep shade of the sun

Days when they need leisure

Tidy up the house, even though

Whisper something insignificant

Emotions also sneak through them

When the initial shudder between the lips makes you perceive happiness

This moment has reached the end of life

And those requests were made inadvertently
