She and Chen Laozong swore an alliance with the mountain, and was personally awarded the title of female major general by Chiang Kai-shek, and in 1949 she took the initiative to stay on the mainland to live

Mr. Chen once wrote a poem "Youlan": "Youlan is in the valley, there is no one to know, only the fragrance is heavy, and the seekers are full of mountains." Although he did not explain who did it, he understood that people could see at a glance that the whole poem was a beautiful and noble orchid of the Hu family, five words, four lines, two crosses, and every word and sentence.

And this beautiful orchid full of fragrance is the legendary Shuzhong female jie - Hu Lanqi, an excellent female Communist Party member and revolutionary fighter lurking in the Kuomintang. She was personally awarded the rank of major general by Chiang Kai-shek, becoming the first beautiful general in modern China. In 1949, when the Kuomintang defeated Taiwan, Hu Lanqi took the initiative to ask to stay on the mainland. So, how did this female general, who had been obsessed with Mr. Chen all her life, live afterwards?

Hu Lanqi, born in 1901 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, to a wealthy family, received a good education from an early age. Her mother was very cultured and open-minded, and taught her to recite patriotic poems such as "The Table of Teachers" and "Man Jiang Hong" very early on, so that she was deeply influenced by patriotic ideas from an early age. These had a major impact on her later revolutionary path.

Hu Lanqi not only has a very high cultural attainment, but also looks beautiful like a flower, has an elegant temperament, and pursues countless young talents who pursue her. However, when she was 19 years old, her father took the initiative and married her to her well-off cousin Yang Guzhi, a wealthy businessman who valued profits and left parting, and only pursued personal prosperity.

However, Hu Lanqi is an advanced woman who has been educated by new ideas, and she pursues equality between men and women and patriotic ideas. Because the two people's outlook on life and interests are far apart, Hu Lanqi is very resistant to this marriage and wants to get rid of this unhappy marriage. Soon after, Hu Lanqi ran away from marriage and left Chengdu, came to Chuannanba County Girls' School as a teacher, and began to earn an independent livelihood on his own. In 1923, under the witness of relatives and friends, he dissolved his marriage relationship with Yang Guzhi.

Hu Lanyan was amazed by the beauty and talent of the four seats, and soon charmed the great warlord Yang Sen of Sichuan, and once wanted to marry her as a concubine, but she flatly refused. This matter was also written by the literary scholar Mao Dun into the famous article "Rainbow", in which the delicate and resolute heroine Mei Xingsu is based on Hu Lanqi.

Soon after, Hu Lanqi was admitted to the Chuannan Normal School, which was headed by Yun Daiying, a famous early leader of the Communist Party. In 1922, Hu Lanqi joined the Marxist research society organized by Yun Daiying in Luzhou. Later, together with Huang Yi, another legendary woman of the Xinhai Revolution, she initiated the organization of the Sichuan Women's Federation, and successively participated in the preparation of the Sichuan South Women's Federation, the Chengdu Women's Association, etc., and the following year, as a representative of the Sichuan Women's Circle, she went to Shanghai to participate in the Sixth Congress of the All-China Federation of Students.

During his revolutionary activities in Germany, Hu lanqi was arrested and imprisoned. After her release from prison, she wrote the famous novel "In german women's prison", which was highly praised by the world's great literary hero Gorky. After the death of this great writer, Hu Lanqi also supported his coffin.

In 1930, due to his outstanding performance, strong work ability, and firm revolutionary will, Hu Lanqi joined the Communist Party through the introduction of Cheng Fangwu and became a staunch communist.

During the years of war, Hu Lanqi became acquainted with Mr. Chen. Mr. Chen's literary attainments and personal charm deeply attracted her. The two were like-minded, male and female, and soon fell into the whirlpool of love, and also made a sea oath to each other. However, due to Hu Lanqi's long-term work in the Kuomintang area, this love is destined to end in tragedy.

In the process of engaging in revolution, Hu Lanqi was close friends with well-known revolutionaries such as Song Qingling, He Xiangxuan, and Zhao Yiman. She was he Xiangxuan's secretary and served as the head of the Shanghai Working Women's Field Service Regiment in the "I and II" battles in Shanghai, bravely rushing to the front.

Hu Lanqi, who has been a female general "Mulan" since childhood and regards the jianhu heroine "Qiu Jin" as an idol, changed the posture of "Miss Wen" yesterday and entered the Wuhan Central Military Academy to learn military knowledge, becoming today's "Miss Wu". When the field invaded, Hu Lanqi led the female soldiers to fight bravely against the Japanese Kou, and was personally awarded the rank of major general by Chiang Kai-shek, becoming the first female general in modern China.

However, Hu Lanqi made full use of the special status of female major general, did a great deal of favorable things for our party, made outstanding contributions to the establishment of a new China, and was a hero in the cause of Chinese people's liberation.

In 1949, when the Kuomintang defeated Taiwan, Hu Lanqi took the initiative to choose to stay on the mainland. When she went to find Mr. Chen, who was already the mayor of Shanghai, she found that he was already the father of several children. Although he waited for Mr. Chen for 17 years, he waited for the end of the liver and intestines. However, after a bitter cry, Hu Lanqi finally let go, and she deeply understood that the flower of love that was formed in the revolutionary war years could not bear fruit. After that, she could only bury this love deep in her heart and never married again.

After the founding of New China, Hu Lanqi was arranged to engage in logistics work at a university in Beijing. Although it was shocked in the turbulent years, it was suffered. But in 1982, she was completely rehabilitated and reinstated as a party member. In his later years, he also served as a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and made great contributions to the cause of the elderly. In the international women's community, as long as Hu Lanqi is mentioned, everyone admires it and feels a lot of emotions. In 1994, Hu Lanqi died of illness at the age of 93.

Throughout his life, Hu Lanqi was displaced, born into death, imprisoned, and endured hardships, sacrificing his youth, love, and family happiness for the liberation of the Chinese people. But she was luckier than those comrades who had sacrificed themselves under the butcher's knife of the enemy and had fallen in successive political struggles. Hu Lanqi is like a shining meteor, although it is fleeting in the night sky of history, she still leaves a dazzling brilliance.
