Looking back at the past 2021, what pictures will you think of? Recently, a new Internet celebrity punch point was added to the Rose Coast of Dapeng New District, Shenzhen, which is a sand carving painting with an area of up to 2,000 square meters. Titled "2021 Beach Sculpture with the Strongest Sound in National Memory", this painting is presented by the national annual listening report released by QQ Music and Tencent News through sand sculpture works, aiming to evoke unforgettable moments for citizens in 2021.
The works are divided into chapters such as "Moment of Struggle" and "Moment of Guardianship". Among them, the largest chapter is the moment of struggle, which records the Asian speed set by Su Bingtian during the Tokyo Olympic Games on August 1, 2021; in order to remember the fight against the epidemic, the key word of the national memory of 2021, the second part of the huge sand sculpture work, with the theme of the guardian moment, records the first batch of new crown vaccines in the country on January 1 this year. In addition, there are also the amazing moment of the archaeological progress of Sanxingdui on March 20, 2021, the exploration moment of Zhu Rong, China's first Mars probe, landing on Mars on May 15, the condensation moment of Meng Wanzhou's smooth return to the motherland on September 25, and the tribute moment of National Day on October 1.
It is understood that the work is led by the well-known sand sculptor and sand painting artist Ouyang Jie, and guided by Ouyang Zaitian, president of the Chinese Folk Calligraphers Association, as a calligraphy character guide, gathering 27 senior sand sculptors and technicians, which lasted nearly 100 hours to create, aiming to recall the unforgettable moments of 2021 and record the development of the times with the public through this kind of artistic creation. The exhibition venue is the main beach of Rose Coast in Dapeng New District, Shenzhen, which can be visited by the public from now until the 15th day of the first month of 2022.
