"Dalu Village Chronicle" published: keep nostalgia and keep roots

Wen | Li Xiuzhen

Prosperous Xiuzhi. Since the establishment of the village in 1523, it has been nearly 500 years since the establishment of the village, and it has become the first village chronicle in history. It must be said that we who live in the present moment are just catching up with the good times.

Five or six hundred thousand words of manuscript, placed on the desk, carefully read down, as if through the tunnel of time gone, the back of the ancestors gradually became clear and palpable, the footprints of the ancestors little by little found the trace, the road village above the wind and clouds of the layer of vague or mysterious historical veil was finally unveiled. From the idea of xiuzhi in 2001 to the delivery and publication in 2020, the whole 20 spring and autumn periods, through search, investigation, research, record, collation and consultation of historical materials, etc., were completed into books, which is really an unprecedented cultural project in Dalu Village. As one of the "Qilu Famous Village Chronicle Cultural Project", for the author who has been watching over the countryside and villagers, this "Dalu Village Chronicle" has more irreplaceable value and significance.

First, I knew where my ancestors came from. Everyone's life has an ultimate proposition: "Where did you come from?" "There is a philosophical sense, and there is a geographical and blood sense. Open the village history, you will know that the road fengshan Li Yimai echoed the proverb: 500 years ago it was a family. Not far away in the southwest mountains, a place called "Lijiagou" has the tomb of the ancestors, and it is historically obvious that in 1523 AD, the "Sixth Ancestor Zhongfanggong" settled on the main road from Lijiagou - this road from Mizhou (present-day Zhucheng) to Qingzhou. This is where the name of the village comes from. Since then, the basket of the road has been cultivated with knives and fires, and since then it has settled down and taken root, and it has been alive and well to this day. If we trace the origin of Lijiagou back, it probably began from the great migration of Shandong from the sixth year of Ming Hongwu (1373) to the fifteenth year of Ming Yongle (1417), and there is a folk proverb: "Ask me where my ancestors are?" Shanxi Hongdong large locust tree. "Other clans can also trace the source. For example, I lived in my grandmother's house at the west end of the village, and it was my grandfather Lei Xitian who came from LeiJiagou with his wife and children to defect to relatives in 1942; and the in-laws who lived in the northeast corner of the village, Zhang Yimen, moved from shejiamiaozi Village in Linghe Town to Dalu around 1984 by the 14th ancestor Zhang Zhongjiu and his family. These are all things that I, a native of the road, did not know before. For nearly 500 years, a village dominated by people surnamed Li has been like a big family, helping and helping other families with other surnames, living a remote and isolated, poor and backward, self-sufficient farming years. Occasionally, students who rush to take the exam pass by the main road next to the village to slightly break the tranquility of the chicken and dog smell. However, what a common and magical land this is. When I was a child, I once heard an old man from the distant CaoJiayu to visit his relatives sit on the edge of Mawan and sigh: "The front mountain, the back river, the middle is the plain, this big road village is a feng shui treasure land..." This white-bearded old man who married his daughter to Dalu was the old father-in-law of my uncle Li Baojin, who was young and did not understand the world, and later when I went to the far side, I knew how exquisite this white-bearded old man's observation and summary of our hometown was.

Time flies, the wheel of history rolls forward, Dalu Village is not what it used to be, the Phoenix Mountain in front of the village has become shorter, but more beautiful; although the Shigou River in the west of the village has been diverted, the countryside on both sides of the river is still nourished by her; although the plain in the middle is no longer planted with wheat and corn, it still brings out a bumper harvest of green onions and ginger for the villagers throughout the year. It is learned from the village history that the exact village area of Dalu Village is 4268256 square meters, or 6402 acres, because it belongs to the alluvial plain of the WenHe River, which not only has fertile soil, but also abundant and clear groundwater. The lush shelterbelt on both sides of the Wen River in the north of the village has become a natural barrier, the wind and sand are blocked, and the hail is turned into rain. In this land, there is a harvest from cultivation, and the torch is passed on, so that today a large and peaceful village is formed.

Second, I know what kind of road my ancestors have taken. A village chronicle involves all aspects, although some are heavy and some are understated, but in the end, it is a record of the past and present lives of the road for 500 years. 500 years, in the long river of history, it is only a fleeting moment, but in the land of Dalu, the ancestors of the villagers have jointly written a thick and rich book. This small village on the land of Qilu is actually a microcosm of China's nearly 500 years of evolution. One flower, one world. Dalu is in China. China is on the road. Generation after generation of villagers, born in Si, died in Si Ge and wept in Si, the folk customs were simple and generous, they were frugal and industrious, in a long and difficult farming society, most of the families barely survived on the self-sufficient acre and three points of land, and a very small number of people flew by like geese in the sky, leaving a glimpse of surprise, such as "Li Yizhong jinshi, was selected by the Qianlong Emperor as a teacher in Xian'an Palace, as a prince Jiaqing teacher", most people are like a grain of dust, silent and die with the wind. And a small person like my father Li Baosheng actually appeared twice in the village chronicle. One was in 1953, when 10 mutual aid groups were set up in Dalu Village, and his father was one of the 10 mutual aid groups, and his name was prominently registered; the other time was in 1984, when his father was admitted to university because he had two children, the party branch of the brigade rewarded him with a large plaque printed with the words "Talent Cultivation Show", which is recorded in the village chronicle. This is also the snow and mud claw left by my father's 73-year life journey on the land of the road.

The father of the author of this article

In the narrative of the main line of time, from 1523 to the next 400 years, poverty, war, and closure are its background, and the main lines of development of Chinese history, such as the examination of the imperial examination, the hair of men, the binding of women's feet, the twisting of military activities, the labor of the First World War, and the rebellion of bandits, can be found in the village records, although brief but conclusive records can be found in the village records; and in the next 100 years, Chinese began to open their eyes to the world, the ancestors of the road finally had the opportunity to go out, and Qingdao in Jinan had the figure of the road people. In the past 100 years, as Li Hongzhang said, our country has encountered "major changes unprecedented in three thousand years." Before the founding of New China, the village of Dalu was bloody and rainy, and the waves were magnificent: in 1929, the bandit Liu Hei invaded Dalu seven times; in 1938, the first batch of patriotic young people on Dalu embarked on the road of resisting Japan and saving the country; in 1939, Japanese soldiers left behind the numerous crimes of burning and looting in Dalu Village; in 1943, the Kuomintang Xin Fourth Regiment was stationed on Dalu for half a year, committing many evil deeds; in the winter of 1945, the Eighth Route Army entered Dalu Village for the first time, carried out mass work, and established a peasant association. In the spring of 1947, more than a dozen young people in Dalu Village joined the detachment and used a small cart to push grain to Linqu to support the Eighth Route Army, and in May of that year, more than 60 migrant workers were sent to support the Menglianggu Campaign with 30 small wooden carts. Since then, the villagers of Dalu have followed the leadership of the Communist Party and moved forward.

In the 70 years after the founding of New China, Chairman Mao made Chinese stand up, and Deng Xiaoping made Chinese rich. The villagers of Dalu Village sometimes took the initiative and sometimes passively were wrapped up in the torrent of the times, first stood up, turned themselves into the masters of the country, and then embarked on the fast lane of reform and opening up, and under the new situation of the land contract responsibility system, they relied on hard work and wisdom to embark on the road of a prosperous rural well-off. Like thousands of reformers, the great roadmen look up at the stars in the sky with hope, and they also stoop down to cultivate the land under their feet. The laurels of "Zhuangyuan Village", "Provincial Civilized Village" and "Shandong's Most Beautiful Village" shine with a dazzling aura, so that the people of the old and young on the road are proud wherever they go. Provincial newspapers and even national newspapers and periodicals have many reports and propaganda. Success may seem simple, but in fact, any success is not accidental. It cannot but be said that under the new situation of reform and opening up, Dalu Village met such a good family as Li Zhiming, and it was he who led the "two committees" of the village to make bold innovations and dared to forge ahead, and only then did it have the transformation of traditional agriculture from a ration field to an economic field, and only then did it have the village customs and folk customs of "no matter how poor we are, no matter how poor we are, education, and no longer bitter children," and only then did we have a new village plan. Because of the importance attached to education, countless students have been admitted to famous universities, and after graduation, students have become the pillars of the construction of the motherland. The road people also have the feelings of shangwu to join the army, and the soldiers are born one after another. Before liberation, Li Zhensheng, Li Baozeng, Li Shengwu, and other predecessors were resourceful and brave, and in the anti-Japanese battlefield and in the battlefield of liberation, they died nine times in the rain of bullets and bullets, and made outstanding military achievements; after liberation, outstanding soldiers such as Zhang Yanli, Zhang Yanxiang, and Zhang Fengqi, who flew the J-6 fighter jet and flew the most beautiful posture above the blue sky among tens of thousands of fighter pilots. They are the backbone of the nation and the pride of the dalu people.

In the 1980s, the Dalu Village Committee and Li Zhensheng, who returned to their hometown to visit their relatives, took a group photo

Third, the nostalgia is retained and the roots are retained. Nearly a hundred years ago, the famous scholar Liang Shuming once issued such an exclamation: "It turns out that Chinese society is based on the countryside, with the countryside as the main body, and most of the culture comes from the countryside, and is set up for the countryside - the legal system, etiquette, industry and commerce, etc. are all like ..." The history of China in the past hundred years can also be said to be a history of rural destruction. "In today's reform and opening up, the changes in the countryside are unprecedented. In the process of urbanization for more than thirty years, a rural China is rapidly disappearing, according to statistics, in the past ten years, tens of thousands of villages have disappeared, an average of 20 a day. As a village in the traditional sense, Ōji Village will certainly not be an eternal existence. What I saw with my own eyes was that in linghe township with the same birth and growth, in 2017, Zhao Jiazhuang people went upstairs, and in 2018, Louzibu Village was razed to the ground overnight. In these disappeared villages, how many people sit at the head of the village and cry, and how many people can only look for the firewood alley they once walked in their memories! In the ever-changing social changes, the road of the hometown, the grass and trees of the hometown, and the people of the hometown are gradually becoming unfamiliar. In this land of thriving agricultural civilization, local culture and agricultural civilization have sunk into the depths of history, and nostalgia has become an unparalleled hot word today. Therefore, we need a key that can open the dusty homeland of our hearts. "Dalu Village Chronicle" can be said to be born at the right time and has become the best carrier of nostalgia.

The deceased cannot be traced, not farther, but a hundred years ago, there were very few words left in Dalu Village, and the images were almost invisible. Many of them have been passed down by word of mouth and have been passed down to this day. Most of the smoke clouds of history are stored in the memories of the elderly, and many searches and records are almost urgent. Therefore, this is a very rare and valuable rural memory project. One side of the water and soil to support the other side, the hometown sound is the most intimate. Chinese has had a strong sense of homesickness since ancient times, which can be seen in those popular poems. Li Baiyue: "Look up at the bright moon, look down at your hometown"; "Floating clouds wander the meaning, sunset and old feelings". Du Fu said: "Lu is white from today, and the moon is the hometown of Ming." Bai Juyi said: "Return to the hometown, the hometown is poor and peaceful"; "Whether it is the cape or the end of the world, the peace of mind is home." There is also Wang Wei's: "Alone in a foreign land for strangers, every festive season to think of relatives." Once a person is born, fate is integrated with the land you have fallen into, and it is inseparable for a lifetime. The mountain is your bone, the road is your tendon, the stream is your blood, and the hard stone is your soul. The land is more stubborn than man, and since it has given birth to you, it will take you in, and even if you die outside, it will take your bones back to the ground. My heart is at home. If I were asked what my deepest childhood impression was, I would not hesitate to answer: the path called "Nanma Wazi" in the east of the village. This path stretches out into the distance, and from the day I remember, it unfolds before my eyes, extending, leading to the distant distance. In today's global village, the road is full of people in China and all over the world, and the distance is getting farther and farther away. Just the college and secondary school students and their descendants who have been admitted have been countless. The farther away from home, the more you understand the taste of homesickness. The highest form of nostalgia sublimation is homecoming, whether it is a return to the hometown in the true sense or a spiritual return to the bright moon from afar.

A fringed tree that is more than 150 years old

As the saying goes, trees are thousands of feet tall, and fallen leaves return to their roots. Root-seeking is a fate that people cannot escape. Life is short, in the blink of an eye is a hundred years, we can not live to live a tree at the head of the village. That tall tassel has read the road for nearly 200 years, but today we can hardly see the figure of our ancestors a hundred years ago. And a "Dalu Village Chronicle" turns the vicissitudes of the first 500 years of Dalu Village into an eternity, no matter where Dalu Village will go in the future, no matter how far Dalu people go in the future, so that the traces of the ancestors of the source of their ancestral homeland can always be found. This village has a resounding name - the main road.

A village chronicle, united through going and going with the future. A village chronicle, keep the nostalgia and keep the roots.
