In October 1950, the Chinese Volunteer Army entered the Korean battlefield.

In October 1951, 18-year-old Zhu Jinxiang said goodbye to her fiancé Lu Mingkun, who was ordered to join the Korean War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.

"Go this time, or come back as a hero, or sacrifice." This was the last sentence that Lu Mingkun left before leaving.

Since then, the connection between the two has been through letters, two of which have been preserved to this day.

"Comrade Mingkun, I always think it is more valuable to personally participate in the war." After Zhu Jinxiang wrote this letter, he also went to the battlefield and became an accountant in the front-line combat communication team.
