The emperor ordered his courtiers to look for "public eggs", and if they couldn't find them, they would bring them up to see them, the grandson of the chancellor: How difficult is this?

introduction

In the "Records of History", the Warring States statesman Ganluo once said: "Fu Xiangqi was born at the age of seven and became a Confucius teacher. There were two prodigies in this sentence, one was Ganluo who spoke, and the other was XiangQi in his mouth, Ganluo was only 12 years old when he said this sentence, but he was already proposing himself to Lü Buwei, the Marquis of Wenxin, to send an envoy to Zhao Guo.

Ganluo's grandfather was named Gan Mao, a famous general of the Qin State, who once held the position of Zuo Cheng Xiang in the Qin State. But later, Because Gan Mao was ostracized by the traitors and victimized by rumors, he had to flee to the State of Qi. In the end, Gan Mao was not able to return to the Qin state and died in the Wei state. At the time of Ganmao's death, his grandson Ganluo was just 12 years old. According to the time when Ganluo made Zhao (244 BC), Ganluo should have been born around 256 BC.

After Gan Mao's death, Ganluo defected to Lü Buwei, who was then the prime minister of the Qin state, and became a very young vassal of Lü Buwei. At that time, the Qin king Yingzheng was only 15 years old, and it was basically Lü Buwei who controlled the government of the Qin state. Lü Buwei's fief was in Hejian , but he felt that the fief was too small and wanted to unite with the Yan state to attack the State of Zhao to expand. Therefore, he thought of a very thorough plan, first sendIng Zhang Tang to the State of Yan to be the State of Xiang, and then he could smoothly attack the State of Zhao with the State of Yan. Who knew that Zhang Tang told Lü Buwei that if he wanted to go to the Yan kingdom, he would have to pass through the Zhao kingdom, but the Zhao state had an old vendetta against him, so he was reluctant to go to the Yan country.

As soon as he heard Zhang Tang say this, Lü Buwei was of course extremely unhappy, so Ganluo proposed himself to Lü Buwei to lobby Zhang Tang. Ganluo went to see Zhang Tang and analyzed his stakes in not going to the Yan kingdom, and in general, if he resolutely refused to go to the Yan kingdom, he would undoubtedly offend Lü Buwei, and I was afraid that there would be no place to die. When Zhang Tang heard this, he felt that Ganluo's words were reasonable, so he agreed to choose a day to leave for yanguo.

Originally, there should have been nothing to do with Ganluo after that, but he didn't think so, and Ganluo went to Lü Buwei again, saying that he planned to go to Zhao Guo first to clear the way for Zhang Tang and ask Lü Buwei to provide him with carriages and horses. Lü Buwei told the Qin king Yingzheng about this matter, and Yingzheng agreed. At the age of 12, Ganluo went to the Zhao Kingdom to meet the Zhao State King.

At that time, the monarch of the State of Zhao was King Xiang of Zhao, and when he heard that Ganluo was coming, he went to the outskirts to personally greet him. Ganluo told King Xiang of Zhao directly that at present, Dan, the crown prince of the State of Yan, was being held hostage in the State of Qin, and Zhang Tang was about to go to the State of Yan as a XiangGuo, and the reason why the State of Qin and the State of Yan had exchanges with each other was to cooperate in attacking the State of Zhao and seizing the territory around the river.

King Xiang of Zhao was a little anxious when he heard it, but before he could get angry, Ganluo continued: This situation is not without a solution, if the State of Zhao wants to avoid this disaster, it can first give the five rivers between the Qin State, and then the Qin State will send the Prince of Yan back to the Yan Kingdom, and then the Qin State can join forces with the Zhao State, but instead take the Yan State, and then the Qin and Zhao countries will divide the Yan Kingdom again.

Ganluo had already spoken here, and king Xiangxiang of Zhao thought about it and agreed, he immediately summoned his attendants to send a map, and after checking it, he personally selected five cities and pools to give to the Qin state. Not long after Ganluo returned to China, the State of Qin did indeed send the Prince of Yan back. At this time, King Xiang of Zhao set out with an entire army and attacked the State of Yan without fear, and finally the State of Zhao obtained thirty cities, eleven of which allowed the State of Qin to get its hands. At such a young age, such a strange plot, the later Song Dynasty Li Fu could not help but marvel in the "Ganluo Temple": "Weak teeth can monopolize the country, and the strange plot does not borrow people." ”

Ganluo made such a great contribution, the King of Qin naturally wanted to be rewarded, and Ganluo was named Shangqing (equivalent to Xiang Xiang), becoming the "most" young Minister in history. The King of Qin also rewarded Ganluo with fiefs and mansions that originally belonged to Ganmao. This incident was Ganluo's best deed, but it was also the only one, and since then, the prodigy who had such talent at the age of twelve has never appeared in the history books again. However, there is also a story about Ganluo in the folk, which is also quite interesting and fully demonstrates Ganluo's eloquence.

For a while, the King of Qin was very dissatisfied with Ganluo's grandfather Ganmao, so he found an excuse to rectify him. He told Gan Mao that he had a strange disease that only a magic medicine could cure, but this magic medicine needed an egg laid by a rooster to be used as a medicine guide. The King of Qin gave Gan Mao three days, and if after three days he could not come to see the King of Qin with the eggs laid by the rooster, then he would raise his head to see him.

When Gan Mao returned home, he frowned and sighed repeatedly, and after Gan Luo learned the reason, he let his grandfather relax, he said: "What is so difficult about this?" I'll fix that. Three days later, Ganluo went to worship the King of Qin in place of his grandfather. As soon as the King of Qin met, he asked why Gan Mao did not come, and Gan Luo replied, "Grandpa has a child at home!" The King of Qin was furious: "How do men give birth to children!" Ganma took over, "Yes! Men certainly can't have children. Just like a rooster doesn't lay eggs! The King of Qin was suddenly gagged, and then praised Ganluo for his quick response and ability to argue.

epilogue

Ganluo is also a mystery in history, such a figure disappeared inexplicably in the history books, and since then he has only become one of the spokesmen of the "child prodigy", some people say that there may be no such person in history, the story about the envoy to Zhao Guo is fabricated, and some people say that Ganluo died young, and the truth may never be known.
