Candis Swinpol was born on 20 October 1988 in South Africa to a family of Dutch descent who lived all her life in the Moi River, a small town in Kwazura Natal, South Africa. As a child, Candice worked as a household chore on a family dairy farm near the Zulu tribe. Candice wasn't the only child in the family, she had an older brother named Stephen.
