The AMD Ryzen™ 6000 mobile processor wins the CES Innovation Award

According to the CES website, the new AMD Ryzen™ 6000 Series processors are the first products to have powerful integrated graphics performance to meet the high configuration requirements of the game, thanks to the new RDNA2 and DDR5 technology, in addition to its AI audio processing capabilities, powered by Microsoft Pluton security chips.

IT Home learned that the AMD 6000 series mobile CPU will be upgraded to Zen3+ architecture, built in 6nm process, still 8 cores and 16 threads, supporting DDR5-4800 memory. The family's integrated GPUs will undergo a major upgrade to the RDNA2 architecture, and the highest model with the highest core display will be named radeon 680M.

The AMD R9 6980HX is 8-core, 16-thread, up to 5GHz; the slightly lower R9 6900HX is 8-core, 16-thread, up to 4.9GHz; and the R7 6800H is 8-core, 16-thread, up to 4.7GHz.

The AMD CES 2022 launch will begin on January 4 at 23:00 UTC. Dr. Zifeng Su, President and CEO of AMD, will host a new product launch that will highlight innovations and solutions for AMD Ryzen processors and AMD Radeon graphics cards.
