BYD H shares opened 4% higher for two consecutive months of monthly sales of nearly 100,000 vehicles

On January 4, BYD H opened 4.07% higher at HK$276, A-shares opened 2.94% higher at 276 yuan, and the latest total market value was HK$915.1 billion.

BYD released data yesterday that in December, BYD's total series sales were 97,990 vehicles, an increase of 231.6% year-on-year, ANDD has sold nearly 100,000 vehicles in a single month for two consecutive months; of which new energy vehicle sales were 92,823 and fuel vehicles were 5,167, from the perspective of sales, the proportion of pure fuel vehicles was only 5.3%, and the proportion of new energy vehicles was nearly 95%.

From the perspective of annual data, BYD sold 740,131 new cars in 2021, an increase of 73.34% year-on-year. Among them, a total of 603,783 new energy vehicles were sold in the whole year, an increase of 218.30% over the same period last year, and it exceeded the target of 400,000 new energy vehicles sold by the Network at the beginning of the year by 50%.
