The data shows that Tesla delivered 308,600 electric vehicles in the fourth quarter of 2021, breaking the previous single-quarter record.

Tesla delivered a total of 936172 vehicles in 2021, an 87 percent increase from 499647 in 2020, and a figure that exceeded all previous analyst estimates.

In the fourth quarter of 2021, the delivery volume of the Model 3 and Model Y was 296,850 units, compared to 911208 units for the full year. Sales of Tesla's flagship models, the Tesla Model S and Model X, are below 3 percent of the company's total annual deliveries.

In the third quarter of 2021, Tesla delivered a total of 241,300 units, the best quarter before Tesla, wall Street analysts previously expected Tesla to deliver 267,000 units in the fourth quarter and about 897,000 vehicles for the full year of 2021.

However, in the whole year of 2021, Tesla overcame difficult situations such as lack of cores and the epidemic to deliver the best delivery record in history, with deliveries exceeding 300,000 in the fourth quarter.
