On December 31st, the "Inheritance and Transcendence - Chinese Sports Culture Exhibition on the Road of the Double Olympic Games" opened at the Capital Museum, and more than 200 sports relics vividly tell the story of Chinese sports through the millennium.

Stepping into the exhibition hall, the three parts of "Chinese sports have a long history", "revitalizing the Chinese Olympic Journey" and "The City of the Two Olympics attracts worldwide attention" outline the development of Chinese sports from ancient times to the present, and show the brilliant achievements of Chinese athletes in the Summer Olympic Games and the Winter Olympic Games.

At the beginning of the exhibition, the first thing that catches the eye is the Han Dynasty blue glaze stacked sculpture riding clay pot, look closely, the pottery pot abdomen is printed with riding archery patterns; there is also a Tang Dynasty bronze mirror hanging in the center of the glass display cabinet, exquisite pattern depicting the ancient hunting picture; in addition, there are Song Dynasty copper Chinese chess pieces, Ming Dynasty Keju high foot bowl, etc., a piece of interesting cultural relics, leading the audience through historical time and space, a glimpse of the rich and interesting sports of the ancients thousands of years ago.

In the exhibition hall of "Revitalizing the Chinese Olympic Journey", the competition suit of Chen Jingkai, China's first athlete to break the world record, the race suit worn by Liu Xiang, the men's 110-meter hurdles champion of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, the signed medallion shoes of Cui Xiaotong, the women's four-person rowing champion at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020, as well as the torches and medals of previous Olympic Games, were all unveiled. The torches and mascots of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games were unveiled at the core position, as well as the medals won by Chinese athletes in previous Winter Olympic Games, the "champion dragon suit" worn when standing on the podium, and the boots of the ice rink, etc., which brought the audience into the passionate Winter Olympic Arena.
