This is shocking. In the '80s, how could such a ridiculous thing happen? First of all, we must start from Ding Xinglai's life experience. Ding Xinglai was born in 1925 in a remote village in Macheng, Hubei Province. He was not a good student since he was a child and had a lot of bad ideas. At the age of sixteen or seventeen, due to lack of knowledge, he joined the "reactionary secret society" to find a way out and began to defraud.

Ding Xinglai was deeply influenced by feudal superstitions and joined some chaotic organizations. Instead of going to a regular temple, from the age of eighteen, that is, in 1943, Ding Xinglai successively joined the Longmen Dao, Guanyin Gate, Xuanfo Gate, Ancient Buddha Gate, Yaochi Gate and other unpopular organizations.
Because Ding Xinglai knew how to grasp people's psychology, he especially chose to propagate cults in remote areas. It didn't take long for Ding Xinglai to be sought after by the villagers. Ding Xinglai gradually lost himself with the support of these people.
He thought he really had the magic power to attract these ordinary people, so the idea of becoming emperor became more and more urgent. At that time, he told the villagers that he was possessed by the gods and therefore had supreme authority. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, this organization took advantage of its geographical location to co-opt ordinary people everywhere, deceive each other, and spread feudal superstitions even more wantonly, leaving many families torn apart. So he set his sights on the remote mountains of Hubei. The terrain here is high and dangerous, sparsely populated, traffic is impassable, and the natural conditions are severe.
It is precisely because of the lack of natural resources that local farmers live under backward production methods, generally in a state of low culture and stupid thinking. At the same time, because there was no competition from other organizations, Ding Xinglai's religious ideas spread rapidly and were sought after by many villagers, and at this time, his imperial dream really began to come true.
Later, Ding Xinglai held an enthronement ceremony in the courtyard. He sat firmly in a round chair and accepted the worship of nearly a hundred Christians, and Ding Xinglai made formal appointments to these members who supported him on the spot, and made empresses, grand ladies, and so on.
That night, Ding Xinglai shared a bed with four women and raped them. After Ding Xinglai first ascended the throne, people continued to follow him, and later held three more enthronement ceremonies. And every time he ascended the throne, he had to share a bed with more than three women.
In the next ten years, Ding Xinglai developed a large number of Daoist monks, because the influence was too great. Eventually, Ding Xinglai's organization was quickly discovered by the relevant departments. The public security organs visited and investigated everywhere, and finally confirmed the evidence of Ding Xinglai's deception.
In the summer of 1990, with the cooperation of multiple departments, the Moral Golden Gate organization headed by Ding Xinglai was swept away. Ding Xinglai's "emperor dream" was shattered, and the farce was finally over.
Later, according to Ding Xinglai's own confession, he used lies such as medical treatment and diagnosis and treatment to deceive and intimidate 55 ignorant women ranging in age from 60 to 10 years old, including mothers, daughters and sisters.
