In 1925, Ding Xinglai was born in Nanchongpi, Dingjia Nanchong Village, Zhangjia Town, Macheng County, Hubei Province. At this time, although the Qing Dynasty had perished, when people's ideological emancipation was not yet universal, the consciousness of democracy and autonomy and republicanism was still very foreign to people in rural areas. Therefore, there are still many elderly people in the village who have seen the scenery of the Qing Dynasty who always discuss the style of the emperor and the power they once had over ten thousand people. In this way, Ding Xinglai, who had long been confused by the emperor's dazzling life. Slowly, there was the idea of restoring the imperial system and calling himself emperor.
After that, Ding Xinglai came to exercise his ability and form his own forces. From 1943 to 1945, he joined the Longmen Dao, Gufomen and other Huidaomen organizations. In 1945, he was brought under the command of Moral Golden Gate for his outstanding business ability. In 1953, Ding Xinglai was arrested and imprisoned for participating in the rebellion organized by the Daode Kinmen organization, and sentenced to five years in prison, and the Daode Kinmen was also banned. After his release from prison, Ding Xinglai, who was still undeterred by Emperor Weidi, secretly contacted the remnants of the organization Daode Kinmen and plotted to restore The Daoist Kinmen to continue the cause of claiming the emperor.

In the process of treating diseases, he often used "diagnosis" and "immortal qi" to seduce more than 50 women, ranging from 60 to more than 10 years old, which can be described as inferior to pigs and dogs. When the time was ripe, Ding Xinglai took the opportunity to hold an enthronement ceremony, canonized the disciples of different official positions, and also took 55 concubines from the people.
As time passed, Ding Xinglai began to be dissatisfied with the power in front of him, and he began to infiltrate the power of the Moral Golden Gate beyond the mountains. Under their propaganda, in 1990, many students, soldiers, and government personnel in Anhui, Hubei Province, joined the Moral Golden Gate. In the summer of 1990, under the close command of the Public Security Bureau of Macheng City, Hubei Province, the old lair of Ding Xinglai and others was served in a pot, and his imperial dream was officially over. What people did not expect was that the suspect who tossed out such a big move was actually a blind man. Until the people in the mountains saw the police coming, they did not believe that this was a scam by Ding Xinglai and others.
