On the afternoon of January 1, NIO announced the delivery data for December 2021 and the annual report card for 2021. According to official data, in December 2021, NIO delivered 10,489 new cars, an increase of 49.7% year-on-year. A total of 25,034 units were delivered in the fourth quarter, an increase of 44.3% year-on-year, achieving seven consecutive quarters of positive growth.

In addition, NIO delivered a total of 91,429 new cars in 2021, an increase of 109.1% year-on-year, doubling for two consecutive years. Up to now, NIO vehicles have delivered a total of 167,070 units.
NIO also announced other results for 2021 on the delivery report. In 2021, NIO has released models such as ET7 and ET5, and provided six FOTA upgrades for ES8, ES6 and EC6 users. With the laying of substations, NIO will build 778 substations worldwide in 2021, with a total of 4582 new supercharging piles and destination charging piles.
It is reported that NIO will deliver three new models this year; at the same time, the second production base of NIO in the NeoPark Xinqiao Intelligent Electric Vehicle Industrial Park will be officially put into operation in the third quarter.
