Ministry of Public Security: The "Reunion" operation has recovered tens of thousands of missing abducted children

In 2021, public security organs across the country carried out in-depth "reunion" operations, making every effort to detect the backlog of child abduction and trafficking, making every effort to arrest suspects of child abduction and trafficking, comprehensively searching for missing abducted children, successfully detecting a number of major child abduction and trafficking backlogs, and recovering a large number of abducted children who had disappeared over the years.

As of December, more than 350 backlogs of child abduction and trafficking had been detected, 890 suspects had been arrested, and more than 2,900 family recognition activities had been carried out.

A total of 10,932 abducted children have been missing over the years, of which 2,538 have been missing for 20 to 30 years, 1,812 have been missing for 30 to 40 years, 371 have been missing for 40 to 50 years, 190 have been missing for 50 to 60 years, 110 have been missing for more than 60 years, and the missing abductees have been separated from their relatives for up to 74 years.

-- Releasing the addresses and contact numbers of more than 3,000 free blood collection points across the country, as of December, 19,000 people have taken the initiative to go to the public security organs to receive free blood collection.
