Li Dingming, born in 1967, a native of Zezhou, Shanxi, graduated from the third phase of the Chinese Ceramics Firing Seminar of Taiyuan University of Technology, a national third-level craftsman, a master of arts and crafts in Jincheng, a craftsman in Jincheng, the director of The Lvyan Research Institute in Zezhou, and the project leader. He is currently a member of the China Folk Writers Association, a member of the China Root Art Society, a director of the Shanxi Wenfang Sibao Association, a director of the Shanxi Industrial and Art Industry Alliance, and a standing director of the Jincheng Arts and Crafts Association.
In 2013, Li Dingming founded Zezhou Yudai Shengyan Culture Development Co., Ltd., engaged in the development of stone stones, using local lamb liver stones as raw materials, developing local stone varieties, and named "Zezhou Yan", becoming the only brick-making enterprise in Jincheng. The product was once designated as a designated gift by the municipal government.
In the same year, at the request of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, the "Zezhou Lvyan" research and development project was registered, and since the launch of the research and development project, after several years of unremitting efforts, it first attacked the problems of material formlessness, poor fire endurance, large product contraction and cracking, high and low temperature cannot be reduced, and the blank tire was not formed, and in September 2019, it successfully cracked the formula problem of "Zezhou Lvyan" and restored its traditional process. The successful re-firing of the "Zezhou Lü Yan" process has brought this centuries-old Chinese traditional ancient stone back to life and added a new brand to the cultural industry of Jincheng City.
In June 2020, the "Zezhou Lvyan" developed by the Zezhou Lvyan Research Institute was officially listed in the list of "Shanxi Three Treasures" by the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, which is also the only one of the Jincheng Wenfang Sibao Enterprises to enter the "Shanxi Three Treasures". In October of the same year, his work "Bell Shaped Yan" won the gold medal in the first Shanxi Arts and Crafts Industry Alliance Jinyi "Taihang Cup" Cultural and Creative Award. In January this year, in the first China Jincheng Fanhua Industry High-level Academic Seminar "Shanxi Three Treasures" Boutique Exhibition Activity Appraisal, Cheng Niyan's work "Gua Ling Yan" was awarded the second prize. At the same time, with his superb skill and technical level, he was awarded the honorary title of "Jincheng Craftsman".
