Nurhaci's sneaking joy: the nine allied armies were scattered, and the Battle of GuleShan severely damaged 30,000 enemy troops

From the eleventh year of the Wanli Calendar (1583), Nurhaci relied on his bravery and wisdom to carry 13 pairs of armor left by his father and 30 horses compensated by the imperial court, developing his strength from small to large. After nine years of steady and steady fighting, finally in the nineteenth year of the Wanli Calendar (1591), the Jurchen departments of Jianzhou were unified and became the new "Lord of Manchuria".

Of course, Nurhaci also did a lot of disgraceful things in the process of establishing his work. However, in the face of the survival law of the weak and the strong, it is also a last resort.

At this time, Nurhaci seemed to have become a party overlord, with territory and power, and naturally had the confidence to speak. But these achievements in front of him are only the beginning of his ambitions. He also had greater ambitions and goals, that is, to continue to expand his power until the entire Territory of Daming. However, in his next action, it made him feel sad.

The Ming Dynasty adopted the principle of divide and rule for the governance of the Jurchens, that is, the Jurchens of Haixi, the Jurchens of Jianzhou and the Jurchens of the WildLings, and the three were mutually restrained and did not allow one family to dominate.

Among them, the true strength of the Savage Woman is weak, and only the true strength of the Haixi Woman can compete with the Truth of the Jianzhou Woman. Therefore, Nurhaci set the next goal directly on the Haixi Jurchen.

The Haixi Jurchens, also known as the "Four Parts of Hulun", consist of four parts: the Yehe Department, the Hada Department, the Huifa Department, and the Ula Department. Among them, Ye Hebu's strength is the most powerful, and it is the most difficult bone to gnaw here.

As an aside, the contradiction between the Ai XinJue Luo clan and the Yehenara clan to which Nurhaci belonged has a long history, and it is said that there was a war between the two families at the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty. On the battlefield,

The leader of the Aisin Kyaw Roshi clan pointed at the big one and said, "We are the most noble gold on the earth." In Manchu, "aixin" means "gold." The leader of the Yehenara clan pointed to the sun in the sky and said dismissively, "What is gold, we call it." In Manchu, "Yehenara" means "sun."

In this war, Ai Xinjue Luoshi lost, and later due to the intervention of the imperial court, the two families were also lost.

So, Nurhachi's sword pointed at Haixi Jurchen, what was he worried about? He was worried:

A reason to send troops is needed.

When Nurhaci started his family, the reason was to avenge his ancestors. When they had the strength to unify the Jurchen ministries of jianzhou, the imperial court also turned a blind eye and did not interfere too much. But the Haixi Nuzhen is completely different, that is, the imperial court used to contain the support forces of the Jianzhou Jurchen. Therefore, if there is no suitable and reasonable reason to send troops, it will be immediately suppressed by the imperial court. By then, Nurhaci's nine years of hard work would have been burned to the ground.

Just when Nurhaci was worried about the reason for sending troops, Haixi Nuzhen actually came to the door herself.

Not long after the establishment of the state,

The leader of the Yehe tribe, Bu Zhai

Two emissaries were sent to find Nurhaci with a letter. The letter has two meanings:

First, after the establishment of the state, the Jurchens must submit to the leadership of the Haixi Jurchens; second, in order to show your sincerity of submission, choose one of the two cities of Erlemin and Zakumu and give them to me.

Nurhaci didn't even think about it, and directly refused to Yan Ci.

Seeing that his purpose had not been achieved, Bu Zhai sent emissaries to Nurhaci for the second time, but this time there were more emissaries from the Hada and Huifa ministries. The meaning is clear:

If you no longer agree to surrender and cut the land, the Haixi army will have to wash the state in blood.

This naked threat made him furious, and this time he not only sternly refused, but also wrote a strongly worded letter to Buzhai for the messengers to bring back.

When Bu zhai saw Nurhaci's letter, there was a sudden panic in his heart. He knew very well that although Nurhaci was now small in number, the soldiers and elites would have a high value of force, and this time they would annoy him, and there would inevitably be endless troubles in the future. Thinking of this, Bu zhai decided to attack Jianzhou first and get rid of Nurhaci.

In September of the twenty-first year of the Wanli Calendar (1593), the Haixi Jurchens, led by Ye Hebu, formed a nine-part coalition army, a total of more than 30,000 people, and marched towards Jianzhou with great momentum.

This made Nurhaci full of joy, thinking about how to beat haixi women, and they actually sent it to the door themselves.

Although the nine-part coalition army was large, after all, it was formed on an ad hoc basis, and there was no unified deployment and combat plan before the war, so it was scattered and scattered, and there was no combat effectiveness to speak of. Although the number of jianzhou is small, they are all elite soldiers and strong generals, and they are united in their determination to kill the enemy, so before the battle is fought, the victory and defeat are already clear at a glance. Fierce fighting broke out between the two sides in the area of Mount Gule, and Nurhaci won more with less, annihilating 4,000 enemy men and capturing 3,000 horses. The leader of the Yehe tribe, Bu Zhai, died in the rebellion.

Through this battle, Nurhaciwei became famous, and the Haixi Jurchen was severely damaged and her strength was sharply reduced. Then, with just one suitable reason, Nurhaci could easily step into the various departments of the Haixi Jurchens.
