The special service battalion directly under the army was organized by minzhong and another part of the former Shonan Red Army guerrilla unit.
The New Fourth Army has a total of more than 10,300 people and is equipped with more than 6,200 guns of various types .
Although the New Fourth Army has few troops and backward equipment, its main body is the essence of the three years of arduous and outstanding guerrilla warfare in the south, and under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the CPC Central Committee, this unit has gradually developed into a fresh force that persists in the War of Resistance in Central China.
