Dunhuang Pipa Score Group 2 12 Songs "Pouring Music"
The guqin music in China's earliest guqin score "Jie Shi Tune Youlan", the Tang Dynasty pipa depicted in Bai Juyi's "Pipa Line", and the Kang Kunlun worship master recorded in the "Miscellaneous Records of the Music House"... These elements of early Chinese music, which were once left in the long river of history, will be presented one by one in the concert "The Music of the Silk Road , Tang Yun Echo", and the audience will follow the original Tang Le song and dance to look back at the thousand-year history. The concert will take place on 5 January 2022 at the Shangyin Opera House Town Hall.
The Tang Dynasty was a period of diversity and diversity in which China's inherent music and foreign music blended together. It is reported that the concert will not only display guqin music, but also the Pipa, a Hu instrument that was popular in the Tang Dynasty, will also be grandly debuted. In the concert, a number of instrumental ensembles will appear, showing the historical style of Hu folk music fusion from different pieces. It is worth mentioning that the Tang Dynasty was not only a prosperous period of instrumental music, but also a large number of Tang poems brought by male and female solo singing, music and dance is also a scene that people linger, Hu Xuan Dance, Hu Teng Dance, Garnet Dance, etc. will also be surprised to appear in the concert. In addition, in order to let the audience immerse themselves in the beauty of the music and dance of the Tang Dynasty, the stage of the concert was built into an ancient painting scroll, and the design referred to murals such as "Mogao Caves 220th Cave Music and Dance Map" to create a symmetrical stage sub-functional partition like the Tang Dynasty, and the ancient people's artistic conception was about to come out.
What kind of form and sound of early Chinese music has always been the focus of attention of people at home and abroad, and the colorful music and dance phenomenon of the Tang Dynasty has become familiar with the opening of Buddhist caves on the Silk Road, especially the Dunhuang Grotto Temple. The glorious literary genres of history, such as Chu Ci, Shi Jing, Piao Wen, Tang poetry and Song Ci, are all lyrics that can be sung. However, due to the fact that our country has experienced thousands of years of historical changes, the form of musical instruments has changed, the ancient musical score has also disappeared in China, the sound has been faulted, etc., so that the ancient music of our country has an embarrassing situation of "dumb" music history. In the 20th century, a pipa score found in the Dunhuang Tibetan Scripture Cave provided an important clue to the study of Tang Dynasty music.

The study of ancient notation of Tang Dynasty music began in Japan, which is due to the fact that most of the musical scores of this period were lost to Japan, and China began to start in the 1980s, and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music is the most concentrated and breakthrough research center in this field. Ye Dong, Chen Yingshi, He Changlin, Zhao Xiaosheng, Ying Youqin, and Zhao Weiping have all made arduous efforts in this field and made significant progress. In 2017, the Shanghai Conservatory of Music established the He Luting Institute for Advanced Study of Chinese Music, and its China and East Asian Ancient Score Research Center collected hundreds of original musical scores lost overseas in China, accumulated nearly 20,000 pages of high-definition electronic documents and ancient music scores, and made detailed solutions to each ancient score.

Over the years, according to the size and material of China's 8th-century ancient musical instruments stored in the Shosoin Temple in Japan, the center has copied and completed the four-stringed lute, the five-string straight-neck pipa, the Ruan Xian, the horizontal flute, the reed drum, the row drum, the 17 reed sheng, the hoop, the shakuhachi, the 13-string kite, and many percussion instruments. The silk road and the variety of musical instruments that appeared in the Tang Dynasty were basically gathered, laying a solid foundation for the presentation of Tang Dynasty music.
The "Music of the Silk Road : Echoes of Tang Yun" concert is hosted by the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and jointly organized by the Department of Shangyin Musicology, the School of Digital Media, the Department of Folk Music, the Department of Modern Percussion and the Dance School of Shanghai Theater Academy.
