Geely and Foxconn joint venture "automobile foundry" landed

【EV Vision Report】According to the Qixinbao APP, on December 27, Shandong Fujikang Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd., which is jointly held by Geely Holding Subsidiary and Foxconn Subsidiary, was officially established in Zibo, Shandong Province.

The legal representative of Fuji Kang is Li Guangyao, with a registered capital of 100 million yuan, and Zhejiang Geely Production and Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. and Futaihua Industry (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. each hold 50% of the shares.

On January 13 this year, Geely Holdings and Foxconn announced that they will establish a joint venture to provide foundry production and customization consulting services for global automotive and mobility companies, including but not limited to complete vehicles or components, intelligent control systems, automotive ecosystems and the whole process of the entire electric vehicle industry chain.

At the end of January, Geely Holdings signed a framework cooperation agreement with Jia Yueting's FF (Faraday Future), in which the two sides plan to cooperate in the fields of technical support and engineering services, and explore the possibility of joint venture between Geely and Foxconn to provide oem services.

Foxconn plans to provide parts or services for 10% of the world's electric vehicles from 2025 to 2027. At the same time, Foxconn is also building its own car brand Foxtron, and launching three models of pure electric cars, SUVs and buses.
