On the afternoon of May 19, the final of the 2024 League of Legends Mid-Season Championship was held at the Chengdu Performing Arts Center, and the top seed BLG team from the LPL region was defeated 3-1 by the No. 1 seed GEN team from the LCK region and missed the home championship.

The two sides have previously met in the upper bracket finals of this tournament, and GEN team defeated BLG team to advance to the finals first.
