The White Paper on the Safety Penetration of Intelligent Connected Vehicles 2.0 was released

On December 29, Chen Shuping, chief engineer of the China Software Evaluation Center (Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), released the "White Paper on the Safety Penetration of Intelligent Connected Vehicles 2.0 (2021)" at the Future Automotive Ecology Conference.

The White Paper on the Safety Penetration of Intelligent Connected Vehicles 2.0 was released

Chen Shuping introduced the three aspects of domestic and foreign standard policies and regulations, vehicle information security threats, and vehicle penetration test results, and carried out threat analysis with the current industry focus - automotive software upgrade (OTA) as an example, released the vehicle penetration evaluation index system 2.0, and finally put forward safety protection suggestions for the results of the intelligent networked vehicle safety penetration test activity.

Chen Shuping mentioned that intelligent connected vehicles need to gradually integrate information security into the whole life cycle of the automotive supply chain, and third-party evaluation agencies are indispensable in the development of intelligent connected vehicle information security. Since 2020, the CCID Automotive team has begun to focus on vehicle information security organizations to write the "Intelligent Connected Vehicle Safety Penetration White Paper" series, and the white paper 2.0 released this time covers the analysis of the network security situation in the industry, the analysis of the network security threat of intelligent and connected vehicles, the identification of vehicle assets, the analysis of key security issues, the test indicator system, etc., providing a reference for the industry to carry out targeted research on network security protection technology.

Zou Bosong, head of the vehicle penetration testing activity and deputy director of the evaluation department of the Intelligent Connected Vehicle Evaluation Engineering Technology Center of the China Software Evaluation Center, said that in the next step, the CCID auto team will continue to track and analyze the laws and regulations and standard dynamics in the industry on the basis of the "White Paper on the Safety Penetration of Intelligent Connected Vehicles (2020)" and "The White Paper on the Safety Penetration of Intelligent Connected Vehicles 2.0 (2021)", continuously improve the vehicle penetration evaluation index system, and continue to carry out penetration testing activities. Provide first-hand test data for the industry.
