It is reported that during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, the scale of China's robot industry grew rapidly, with an average annual compound growth rate of about 15%, of which the output of industrial robots increased from 72,000 sets to 212,000 sets, an average annual growth rate of 31%. China has become the world's largest consumer of industrial robots for eight consecutive years, and the density of manufacturing robots will reach 246 units per 10,000 people in 2020, which is nearly 2 times the global average.
In terms of cultivating specialized new "little giants", the "Planning" mentions that by 2025, a group of leading enterprises with international competitiveness and a large number of specialized and special new "small giant" enterprises with strong innovation ability and good growth will be formed, and 3-5 industrial clusters with international influence will be built.
Red Star Capital Bureau learned at the press conference of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will encourage backbone enterprises to cultivate robot pilot enterprises with ecological dominance and core competitiveness through mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and cooperation. Promote enterprises to deepen the subdivision of the industry, strengthen the specialization and differentiated development, and create a number of specialized new "small giant" enterprises and single champion enterprises in the fields of robot machines, parts and system integration.
Encourage backbone enterprises to aim at the weak links of key components and high-end machine products, and cooperate with supporting enterprises to accelerate the research and development, engineering verification and iterative upgrading of precision gears, greases, encoders, core software, etc.
In addition, it will also guide resources and innovation elements to gather in areas with good industrial foundation and great development potential, and cultivate advantageous clusters with strong innovation capabilities and good industrial environment.
