Shandong is a large province of red archive resources, with a large number of revolutionary historical archives and a relatively complete system, which is typical of the whole country. Over the years, the archival departments at all levels in the province have highlighted the characteristics of archives, excavated and utilized red archive resources, and brought into play the role of archives in preserving history and educating people.
It is understood that as of now, there are 321908 red archives in the national comprehensive archives at all levels in the province. Among them, the Shandong Provincial Archives have 142996 pieces, accounting for 44%; the archives of cities, counties and districts at all levels have 178912 pieces, accounting for 56%.
The lightning news reporter learned that the archives departments at all levels in the province seized the opportunity of the centenary of the founding of the party and launched 140 archival exhibitions, attracting more than 480,000 people to visit, compared with 160,000 last year, the number of visitors doubled. The Shandong Provincial Archives has hosted the "100 Years is just the Wind and Glory" theme archive documentary exhibition, which has received 295 units, 338 times, and a total of more than 11,000 visits.
It is understood that the Shandong Provincial Archives continues to promote the "do not forget the original heart and keep in mind the mission" archival document exhibition to the grass-roots level, 37 cities and counties to undertake the exhibition, becoming a platform for serving the study and education of party history. Archives departments at all levels have dug deep into the resources of the red archives, increased the development of the resources of the red archives, and compiled and published a number of fine archival cultural products.
