Due to the long preservation time and uneven paper quality, the judicial archives of the Republic of China have problems such as aging and damage, handwriting, insect moths, and mold breeding to varying degrees, which affect the historical value and use value of the archives to varying degrees. In view of the existing problems, the Municipal Archives arranged the deployment in a timely manner, relied on the responsibility of the real, and promoted the rescue restoration work with high quality. The first is to strictly control the "quantity of the pass", conscientiously carry out the inventory of the number of judicial archives of the Republic of China in the collection, check and clearly the catalog and physical objects of the archives, and include all the judicial archives of the Republic of China in the scope of restoration, so as not to miss a volume or miss a page, so as to ensure that the restoration rate of the archives reaches one hundred percent; the second is to strictly control the "quality pass", in the process of restoration, the municipal archives carry out rescue due to damage according to the different damage to the archives, and carry out repairs, repairs, repairs, exposes, frames, and binds the archives volume by volume, page by page, repairing, and binding, and the damage is serious. The incomplete pages are carefully restored to maintain and restore the original appearance of the archive to the greatest extent. The third is to strictly control the "acceptance of customs", after the completion of the restoration work, three work acceptance teams will be set up in a timely manner, and 388 archives will be selected for acceptance in accordance with the proportion of not less than 5% of the total number of restoration archives, focusing on checking the mounting, binding, editing of pages, preparation forms, and curling of the restoration archives.
The archives of this restoration record the trial process of judicial cases in the Republic of China period in our city, covering the investigation of civil cases, the investigation of criminal cases, public prosecutions and other procedural matters, and the archives contain original documents such as pleadings, pleadings, contracts, etc., which objectively reflect the social structure, economic form, family marriage, and people's concepts at that time.
