At seven o'clock in the morning of July 23, 1931, Song Ziwen, the Minister of Finance of the Kuomintang, and his confidential secretary and his party arrived in Shanghai by express train. After Song Ziwen got out of the car, he had just walked into the hall when he suddenly encountered many thugs. At first glance, the person was not good, and Song Ziwen's accompanying bodyguard did not have time to think much, and immediately drew his gun and returned fire. For a time, the waiting hall was constantly shot, the smoke was thick, and the frightened people screamed and fled in all directions, and the chaos was very chaotic. The hall of the originally orderly Shanghai North Railway Station seemed to have become a battlefield full of smoke and "swords" without eyes at this moment. In such an out-of-control situation, Song Ziwen's secretary and bodyguard reacted quickly and tacitly agreed to escort him away. However, in this process, his secretary Tang Zhixun was unfortunately shot three times, and the rescue was ineffective and finally died.
01 Tang's assassination of the truth
It seems that this assassination was a murder against the secretary Tang Zhiqi, but in the memoirs of Wang Yaqiao's brother Wang Shuqiao, he once recalled that in fact, when Song Ziwen got off the bus, Wang Yaqiao was originally hired by Sun Ke to assassinate Song Ziwen, but because the scene was chaotic at that time, the target was not easy to lock, plus Song Ziwen and his secretary Tang Zhiqi were wearing white suits, wearing Napoleon hats, dressed in a very similar way, and it was almost impossible to distinguish who was who, so in the end Wang Yaqiao mistakenly killed the secretary Tang Zhiqi.
This is an oolong incident, but if we look closely at history, we find that since his youth, Wang Yaqiao has hated the behavior of the local officials and the people to the bone, which is quite a bit of a pleasure and revenge.
Zhang Qiubai, director of the Anhui Construction Department, who saw the wind at the helm, and Zhao Tieqiao, the general office of the Shanghai Merchants Bureau, who worked for Chiang Kai-shek, both died under the assassination of Wang Yaqiao. Even Chiang Kai-shek, chairman of the Nationalist Government, was assassinated, but he did not succeed...
02 Young Lingyun ambition
In the same year that the Xinhai Revolution broke out, Wang Yaqiao, who was twenty-two years old at the time, responded to Sun Yat-sen's call with his fellow villagers and declared independence in Hefei with full of patriotic feelings. At that time, in addition to a revolutionary army led by Wang Yanan, Sun Pinxiaoyu was also fei from the Shanghai headquarters of the League, and also established a military government at hefei University College to declare independence. However, later, because of his family's poverty in his early years, Wang Yaqiao, who often witnessed the villagers being squeezed by local tycoon officials, had differences in the views of Sun Pinqiao and others, and eventually turned against him and was hunted down and killed by Sun Pinqiao and others. But in the end, with his flexible skills, Wang Yaqiao was able to successfully escape.
This incident gave Wang Yaqiao an extremely strong revolutionary conviction, and from this incident onwards, whether it was the admonition to bomb the Beijing government or the bombing of Zhang Wensheng from power, it reflected Wang Yaqiao's jealousy and hatred in his bones.
03 After April 12, he rebelled against Chiang Kai-shek
On April 18, 1927, Chiang Kai-shek established the Nanjing government in Nanjing, and this act of betrayal of the revolution immediately made Wang Yaqiao feel sad.
At the "Founding Ceremony" meeting in Nanjing, Wang Yaqiao gave a speech in which he used sharp words and bluntly complained in front of Chiang Kai-shek in front of Chiang Kai-shek's cronies about the Three People's Principles and other ideological theories put forward by Dr. Sun Yat-sen when he launched the revolution, which he used to attack the conspiracy of the Chiang Kai-shek clique. Just after this speech, Chiang Kai-shek was furious and immediately ordered Wen Jiangang, the head of the police department, to secretly arrest Wang Yaqiao.
Who expected that Wen Jiangang secretly let Wang Yaqiao run away at this time, and After Wang Yaqiao escaped, he quickly fled Nanjing with the help of his friends.
epilogue
In October 1936, Wang Yaqiao, known as the "Great King of Assassination", was assassinated by Dai Kasa and died in Wuzhou. His death made Chiang Kai-shek's greatest concern disappear. This national hero who was so heroic and courageous did not fall under the butcher's knife of the outer Kou, but died at the hands of Chiang Kai-shek.
