【Smart Car Pie News】On December 27, the unmanned express logistics vehicle "Pioneer" developed by Matrix Data Technology launched the application scenario internal test at the headquarters of Zhongtong Express. It is understood that the express unmanned vehicle is China's first vehicle-level unmanned express logistics vehicle, the car has achieved de-safety personnel, can drive on the highway, the design speed of more than 70km / h.
The unmanned express logistics vehicle named "Pioneer" is about 3.85 meters long, 1.5 meters wide, 2 meters tall, and the volume of the vehicle can reach 4.5m3, which can complete more than 3,000 parcels per day. In this internal test, the car simulates the behavior of station stops, zebra crossing concessions, obstacle avoidance, etc., and can interact with the surrounding crowd through the lighting and voice system on board, further improving the safety of the vehicle. The car has a range of up to 240 kilometers per pass, and an additional battery compartment is also provided to increase the range.

In terms of vehicle technology, the car is developed by Matrix Data Technology and equipped with Huawei's MDC vehicle-level intelligent driving computing platform to provide it with powerful computing power. In addition, the car also uses four Sagitar poly innovative generation 32-line lidar RS-Helios, which has the characteristics of long distance, high accuracy and real-time imaging, which can bring higher safety compared to visual camera imaging technology. The car is also equipped with 2 millimeter wave radars and 12 ultrasonic radars, which can achieve 360 ° blind spot perception with internal high-precision map and positioning system.
Jin Renqun, director of the Development Research Center of Zhongtong Express, said that the internal test of vehicle regulation-level driverless express logistics vehicles is, on the one hand, a verification of the feasibility of the distribution of unmanned vehicles at the end of express delivery, on the other hand, it will also help deepen the cutting-edge technical cooperation between ZTO and its partners matrix data technology in the distribution of express terminals. In the future, ZTO will continue to deepen the field of terminal distribution, accelerate the wide application of unmanned vehicles in new logistics scenarios, and improve the distribution efficiency of future logistics, thereby further improving service levels.
