Author: Xiang Hua / Editor, Qi Xiangyu / Painting

Guangxi Normal University Press

Adapted from The Sayings of the Law, "The Little Lamb Dresses up as a Tiger" tells the fable of a deceitful lamb.

Once upon a time, there was a lamb. Sheep are often threatened by wolves and are not at peace. The lamb wants to change this situation and scare the wolves. He went to the prop shop opened by the chameleon and bought a tiger skin to wear on his body. He walked majestically through the forest. When the other small animals saw that the king was coming, they were frightened and fled. The lamb hiding under the tiger's skin was not happy, and it was even more dazzling. But he was a little sheep after all, and when he saw the grass, he was drooling. He saw no one everywhere and buried his head in the grass. Unexpectedly, a group of wild wolves came. They saw a tiger grazing, so strange, they surrounded it. They ripped open the tiger skin and looked at it, and it turned out to be a fake. The lamb fled into the wilderness, almost losing his life. From then on, he did not dare to cheat again.
