General Huang Kecheng dared to tell the truth all his life, but also because he told the truth offended many people, many times criticized, many times dismissed, even so long as he thinks that there is injustice, he will stand up and speak fairly, no matter who the other party is.
And General Huang Kecheng has made a comeback 20 years after being deposed, but he still has not changed his true colors, still insists on defending the truth on many important issues, and frankly speaks the truth.

Especially after the death of the genius military expert Mr. Lin, his reputation suddenly fell to the bottom, many people were scolding him, or they had no relationship with him, at this time Huang Kecheng stood up and said: My past impression of Mr. Lin was good, I think he is very capable of fighting, and he can also adopt the correct opinions he recognizes. Saying such a thing at the time was a lot of pressure.
Not only that, but when Huang Kecheng saw that the "Encyclopedia of China and Military Volumes" compiled in 1984 was useless to Mr. Lin, and could not even fight a war, Huang Kecheng stood up again and said: You can't write like this, it is untrue to write like this.
In 1945, our army entered the northeast with only more than 100,000 people, and after three years of troop entry, it was already a million male divisions, and it also established a liberated area as large as the northeast, which is the credit of all the soldiers and people in the entire northeast, but Mr. Lin as the main leader is also indispensable, and this cannot be erased.
Huang Kecheng believes that the evaluation of Lin Zong should be divided into two sections, one of which is that he has played a positive role in the development of our army and the enhancement of combat effectiveness. The other section is an objective and impartial criticism of his mistakes, both of which must be clear and must not be ambiguous, which is in line with historical facts.
In 1986, Huang Kecheng died, and his wife Tang Dihua wrote in the Bang Lian: "That is, death has no regrets, looking up to the sky, and not bowing down to people." This is the best summary of Huang Kecheng's life.
