An Lushan grew up with his mother, living in a Turkic tribe, and her mother later married her stepfather, An Yanyan, the brother of the general An Bozhi. An Lushan was not ashamed to live with his stepfather, so he tried to leave the Turks and became brothers with An Sishun and others.
An Lushan had wanted to leave this place since he was a child, but unfortunately, every time he escaped, he was always caught. Later, he decided not to run away, so he stayed behind to study hard. Growing up, An Lushan became proficient in the Six Chinese and became a yalang (specializing in helping buyers and sellers negotiate prices).
In the twentieth year of the new century, An Lushan and a few companions stole sheep, and were caught by Zhang Shoujue of Youzhou Jiedu, who originally planned to beat them to death, but the others were panicked, only to see An Lushan say without hurrying: "The doctor does not want to destroy the two porphyry? What is killing Lushan! ”
Zhang Shoujue saw that this man had some courage, so he asked him and one of his companions to capture the prisoners, in order to offset the crime of stealing sheep, and this companion was Shi Siming. An Lushan and Shi Siming cooperated, and each time they were able to capture the captives as scheduled, Zhang Shoujue saw that he really had some skills, and not only did not blame them anymore, but promoted An Lushan to be a partial general.
An Lushan is very opportunistic, and is good at meeting his superiors, plus he does have some skills, and he is quickly reused by Zhang Shoujue. Zhang Shoujue adopted An Lushan as a righteous son, and the latter began to rise to prominence. After An Lushan had some connections, he spent a lot of money to bribe the officials of the imperial court to let them recommend him more, and sure enough, Tang Xuanzong soon noticed him.
An Lushan knew that Tang Xuanzong was very fond of Yang Guifei, so he offered to be Yang Guifei's adopted son, you know, An Lushan was born in 703 AD, and Yang Guifei was born in 719 AD. That is to say, An Lushan was 16 years older than Yang Guifei, which showed how strong An Lushan's ability to meet and greet was.
As we all know, Yang Guifei is also very dedicated to this adopted son, just like the "wash three" incident. And An Lushan, the "son", was also very "filial piety" to Yang Guifei. On the surface, between Yang Guifei and An Lushan, it seems that there is really "motherly kindness and filial piety", and moreover, the glory and wealth of An Lushan and the unscrupulous power in the Forbidden Palace are all related to Yang Guifei. In this way, those folk rumors that there is an unknown relationship between the two are not empty. Some people even said that An Lushan launched the An Shi Rebellion in order to get Yang Guifei.
But I don't think so. As we all know, after the Anshi Rebellion broke out, Tang Xuanzong fled with Yang Guifei and others. While passing through Ma Songpo, Yang Guifei was forced to die by everyone. If according to everyone, An Lushan is Yang Guifei's adopted son, the two have a mysterious relationship, and even An Lushan sent troops to get Yang Guifei. So before Yang Guifei was killed, why didn't An Lushan send someone to rescue her? I think there are three reasons.
First, just prove the relationship between the two people

There was no reason to ignore it and let Yang Guifei be forced to die.
Second, this "adoptive mother" is just a bridge across the river
An Lushan was 16 years older than Yang Guifei, and the reason why he recognized the other party as his adoptive mother was not to get close to Tang Xuanzong. He considered himself to be the son of Yang Guifei, which was equivalent to the son of Tang Xuanzong, that is, the crown prince. In the future, if he wanted to rebel, he could also find an excuse for himself, saying that he was the son of Tang Xuanzong and was naturally qualified to succeed to the throne.
Moreover, since he recognized Yang Guifei, An Lushan was unscrupulous in the palace. Even though Yang Guozhong repeatedly advised Tang Xuanzong that An Lushan would rebel sooner or later, Tang Xuanzong was convinced of An Lushan because of Yang Guifei. Although An Lushan's rebellion was not directly related to Yang Guifei, her relationship really paved the way for An Lushan's rebellion.
In this way, Yang Guifei was only used by An Lushan, and he crossed this bridge and walked to Tang Xuanzong. Slowly cultivate his own forces, buy tang Xuanzong's cronies, and when the time is ripe, he will not hesitate to raise an army. At this time, Yang Guifei's life and death did not matter to An Lushan.
3. An Lushan accused Yang Guifei of guilt
If An Lushan really cared about Yang Guifei, or if there was an improper relationship between them, then An Lushan and Yang Guozhong would not be so incompatible. The history books record: "Lu Shan rebelled, in the name of Jie Guozhong, and referred to the sins of concubines and aunts. ”
