On January 27, 1893, a new girl was born in the Song family, and her father Song Jiashu named her Song Qingling, and the glorious life of a great woman in Modern and Contemporary Chinese History began.
Song Jiashu is not only Song Qingling's father, but also her master of enlightenment, and also a staunch supporter of the new revolution in China's modern history. Under the influence of his father, the young Song Qingling knew the importance of the revolution, and even thought that as long as the revolution could succeed, even if it cost his precious life for it. As she grew older, the belief in being a Chinese who could save the country grew stronger, and she was eager to dedicate her strength to this devastated country.

As a girl, Song Qingling went to the United States alone to receive new ideas and learn new knowledge. She was particularly interested in history and philosophy, and in light of the current situation in China, Soong Ching Ling gradually determined what kind of revolutionary road she would take in the future. During his studies in the United States, in the correspondence with his family, a figure of a person quietly emerged, he was Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
Soon, Song Qingling, who was successful in her studies and full of enthusiasm, was ready to return to China to show her skills, but it coincided with the obstacles to the domestic revolutionary cause, and the development of many revolutionary groups fell into an unprecedented crisis, so she had no choice but to go to Japan and meet Mr. Zhongshan, whom she had admired for a long time.
This meeting made the two of them form an indissoluble relationship, And Song Qingling helped Mr. Zhongshan handle the work around him, and also ran around for the revolutionary cause, which was also the beginning of Song Qingling's revolutionary career of more than 70 years in his life. In just half a year, Sun Yat-sen, who had been weakened by the setbacks in the revolutionary cause, found hope and self-confidence in Soong Ching Ling, and set out to create a revolutionary party.
Although Sun Yat-sen was 22 years older than Soong Ching-ling, age did not become a stumbling block on the road of the revolution's feelings. In 1915, Soong Ching Ling left for Shanghai, informed his parents of his relationship with Sun Yat-sen, and talked about marriage. Although the father Song Jiashu is very clear-cut, he is still very angry at his daughter's reckless behavior, saying that the marriage will not be agreed. But Song Qingling was not at all moved, even if her father wanted to put herself under house arrest, she still declared: "As long as there is a chance, she will definitely leave."

Later, with the help of his maid, Soong Ching Ling successfully escaped from his home and rushed to Japan to marry Sun Yat-sen. In this way, a marriage that was very controversial at that time was finally settled, and the two successfully came together.
To be fair, look at the young Song Qingling, she has a typical rebellious spirit, but compared with the reckless young people, the learned she knows that she has chosen an extremely difficult life path, and there is not much happiness waiting for her, but countless tests, even displacement, precarious.
In the summer of 1922, Chen Jiongming betrayed the revolution, and Sun Yat-sen tried to keep Soong Ching-ling away from the land of right and wrong, but Soong Ching-ling said to Mr. Soong: "The Chinese revolution can completely do without me, but absolutely cannot do without you."
Therefore, at the strong request of Soong Ching-ling, Sun Yat-sen took the lead in evacuating. It was also during this life-and-death evacuation that she unfortunately miscarried and remained childless for the rest of her life.
When Sun Yat-sen died in Beijing in 1925, he handed over the revolutionary achievements of his life and his unfulfilled will to Soong Ching-ling, and it was this legacy from Sun Yat-sen that supported her through the remaining 56 long years of her life.
A foreign reporter once asked Song Qingling: "What is your most cherished achievement?" Without hesitation, she replied, "It is my loyalty to Dr. Sun, the loyalty that I have been loyal to him since I met him until now."
It can be seen that Soong Ching Ling has been obsessed with Sun Yat-sen all her life, and she has never called herself "Lady Zhongshan", and in her heart she does not want these names and titles derived from Sun Yat-sen to bring any benefits and rich life to herself, but to avoid being a Lady of Zhongshan as much as possible and humiliating Sun Yat-sen's english name.

After Sun Yat-sen's death, Soong Ching Ling remained single for 56 years.
This is the most turbulent half a century in China, but no matter how the situation at home and abroad changes, Soong Ching Ling has always adhered to the "Three People's Principles" proposed by Sun Yat-sen as the bottom line.
The right wing of the Kuomintang gradually rose, and gradually deviated from Dr. Sun Yat-sen's "Three People's Principles" line in terms of code of conduct; Soong Ching-ling repeatedly tried unsuccessfully to persuade him, so he had no choice but to issue the famous "July 14" statement, withdraw from the Kuomintang Central Executive Committee, and fight against the reactionary forces that went against Sun Yat-sen's will before his death, shouldering the burden of the entire revolution as a woman. It was also at this time that she chose to part ways with Lao Jiang and her own relatives and sisters. This kind of pure revolutionary belief and persistent revolutionary spirit can be described as unprecedented and unprecedented.
After that, in order to explore a new revolutionary road again, Soong Ching Ling chose to visit the Soviet Union. The trip to the Soviet Union touched her very much, not only accepting many advanced revolutionary ideas, but also discussing the future development path of China with many revolutionary volunteers.
Throughout her stay in Europe, Soong Ching Ling's life was extremely poor, but even then she was reluctant to accept funding from the reactionaries. It is said that at that time, old Jiang sent Song Ziliang to lobby, and Song Qingling directly reprimanded Song Ziliang, saying: "The Song family should exist for China, not China for the Song family." It can be seen that at this time, the revolutionary spirit and the belief in saving the country and striving for strength have long surpassed personal interests and family affection in Song Qingling's heart.
With Song Qingling's identity and achievements, she can live a solid and happy life, but she has never done so in her life, but has taken out a kind of perseverance that no man can match and decisively plunged into the revolutionary torrent of the times.
In 1949, Song Qingling, who was unwilling to negotiate with the Nationalist government and was on the other side of the strait, chose to stay alone on the mainland, which was her home and the place where her husband, Mr. Zhongshan, had been concerned all his life. Here she finally heard the long-awaited clarion call for revolutionary victory.
Everyone will be full of enthusiasm for the ideal, but how to make the ideal last forever, and let the enthusiasm of the heart can live forever, this is by no means an easy thing, but there is no doubt that Song Qingling has done it, and it is better than anyone in the same era.

After the founding of New China, Song Qingling was naturally full of honor, but this was not what she cared about. Since the world was at peace, the focus of her work shifted to the cause of social welfare, a glorious and great cause that lasted until the last moment of her life. Although she failed to become a mother in her life, she saved and encouraged countless children, and in the eyes of these children, Song Qingling was undoubtedly like her own biological mother.
On May 29, 1981, Soong Ching Ling died in Beijing, and the name Soong Ching Ling has since become a noble symbol in the hearts of Chinese.
