"The Call of the Plateau: Sketching in Qinghai in 38 Years- Wu Changjiang Prints and Drawings Exhibition" opened in Xining

On December 24, the "Summons of the Plateau: 38 Years of Qinghai Sketching - Wu Changjiang Printmaking and Drawing Exhibition" co-sponsored by the China Artists Association, the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and the Provincial Federation of Literature and Literature opened at the Qinghai Art Museum. Zhao Yuexia, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial CPC Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, attended and announced the opening.

The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is high in heaven and thick in soil, with countless scenes, harmonious coexistence of multiple ethnic groups, and multi-cultural reflection. It has both magnificent natural splendor and colorful humanistic beauty, both the rich historical beauty of the thick accumulation, and the unity and progress of the nation and beauty, which is a rich mining area for the artist's sketching and creation. Wu Changjiang has a deep affection for Qinghai, with a high degree of cultural consciousness as an artist, 38 years of focusing on the same theme, a large number of excellent works reflecting Qinghai's customs and natural scenery came into being. While interpreting beauty, these works have also greatly improved Qinghai's popularity and reputation. This exhibition selects some of the outstanding works created by Wu Changjiang in Qinghai in the past 38 years, which have become representative works in the history of modern Chinese printmaking and have high artistic value.

It is reported that the purpose of holding this exhibition is to deeply study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the 11th National Literary Congress and the 10th National Congress, further enhance the sense of responsibility of the times and the sense of historical mission, persist in serving the people, hold high the torch of the national spirit, integrate artistic ideals into the cause of the party and the people, strive to promote the high-quality development of Qinghai Literature and Art and the Work of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and greet the victory of the 20th National Congress of the Party with more excellent work achievements.
