Ice and snow professional training ground releases tourism "heat effect"

Walking into the Hebei Chongli Plateau (National Comprehensive) Training Base undertaken by China Railway 16th Bureau Group, a U-shaped pool track with a total length of about 298 meters, a total span of 42 meters, and a height difference of about 81 meters is very spectacular.

The total construction area of the project is about 12,800 square meters, the main structure adopts a large-span single-layer single-span door steel frame structure, and the roof adopts "polyurethane composite sandwich panel + waterproof membrane", which can resist 1 meter snow pressure and 9 (instantaneous 10 level) wind load. Due to the construction of the project on the mountain, the construction site is narrow, and the platform of the crane station and the vehicle operation route need to be built at any time with the installation progress. Due to the constraints of site conditions, component volume and weight, all components can only be transported to the foot of the mountain first, and then re-transported twice with the installation progress, and the workload of on-site hoisting, inverting and secondary assembly is huge, and the construction difficulty is far more than that of ordinary projects in the past.

"Because the project is located in the hillside section of Gaoshan District, the terrain is high in the south and low in the north, the terrain is complex and undulating, the horizontal space of the site is only 70 meters, the span of the main body of the project is 42 meters, both sides are natural woodland, and the maximum construction slope is 45 degrees." In the limited construction space, it involves civil engineering, pipeline laying, mechanical and electrical installation, steel structure assembly, equipment commissioning and other processes cross-operation, each link is a card neck project, these difficulties can make us engineers suffer. Recalling the entire construction process, Zhang Yongfa, project leader of the 16th Bureau of China Railway, sighed.

As the world's first full-size indoor U-shaped pool track that can reach the level of international standard events, the project actively applies new technologies in the design and construction to achieve full-season real snow environment training and competition, helping athletes achieve breakthroughs.

Zhang Yongfa introduced that the U-shaped pool track of the project mainly adopts three innovative technologies. One is high-temperature snowmaking technology, which can generate snow for trough repair at a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius above zero outdoors; the second is independent temperature control technology, which adopts a temperature control system with 28 independent control areas to ensure that the indoor temperature of the entire U-shaped trough is balanced and stable; third, dry snow technology, first use the standard dry snow module to build the basic U-shaped state of the tank, and then make snow and fix snow on the basis of dry snow, thereby reducing the amount of snow and ensuring the training of athletes in all seasons.

Chongli Plateau (National Comprehensive) Training Base is a state-level comprehensive training base mainly for ice and snow sports jointly built by the State General Administration of Sport and the Hebei Provincial Government, and has built a complete snow sports professional track such as slope obstacle course ski track, obstacle chase slope, U-shaped field, snow skill field, and aerial skill field.

At the Beijing Winter Olympics, Chinese athletes shined on the U-shaped pool track. Among them, Gu Ailing, Li Fanghui and Zhang Kexin of the Chinese team of the women's freestyle skiing U-shaped track skills competition achieved excellent results in the 1st, 5th and 7th places respectively, and Cai Xuetong, a chinese player in the women's snowboarding U-shaped track skills competition, won the 4th place personal Olympic best.

After the race, the excitement of the U-shaped pool track continued. In recent years, the construction and improvement of the base has brought people, logistics and information flow to Chongli, effectively promoting the development of the economic format of "ice and snow +", from the single industrial chain of skiing and ice and snow tourism to the development of ice and snow equipment research and development and manufacturing, ice and snow culture tourism, ice and snow sports, ice and snow sports, ice and snow sports talents education and training, ice and snow sports events and other ice and snow industry chain development.

"In the future, the base will not only meet the training of professional athletes, but also promote the popularization of ice and snow sports to mass sports." Zhang Yongfa said that the base will inject new impetus into the local social and economic development together with other ice and snow cultural tourism resources, and "cold ice and snow" will gradually release the "thermal effect" to help Chongli create a new business card for the integration and development of ice and snow sports, culture, industry and tourism.
