Google, General Motors, etc. announced that they would give up participating in the CES2022 offline exhibition

Webmaster's House (ChinaZ.com) Dec. 24: Facebook parent companies Meta, Twitter and Pinterest said on Tuesday that they would not send a group to next month's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas due to heightened concerns about the coronavirus Omicron variant.

Now General Motors, Alphabet's Google and its self-driving car technology company Waymo also announced on Thursday local time that they will not send a delegation to CES 2022 next month due to the rising rate of new crown infection in the United States.

CeS said that the electronics show will still be held offline from January 5 to 8 next year, and the organizers will take "strong safety measures", including vaccination requirements, masks and COVID-19 testing.
