Meng Chairman Mao's commentary on "Butterfly Loves Flowers - Answer to Li Shuyi"

One day in the autumn of 2010, I saw Hu Shi on the Internet criticizing Chairman Mao's "Butterfly Love Flower - You Xian" (later changed to "Butterfly Love Flower - Answer to Li Shuyi") in his diary in March 1959, saying: "I ask zhao Yuanren to see how the phrase "tiger, dance, rain" can be rhymed with you. He also said that Hunan rhymes do not have such a common rhyme. Hu Shi said that the word "doesn't make sense." ”

Chairman Mao's "Butterfly Loves Flowers - Answering Li Shuyi" is as follows:

I lost pride in Yang Jun lost willow, Yang Willow lightly, straight up to the heavy Xiao Jiu. Asking Wu Ganghe everything, Wu Gang held out osmanthus wine.

Lonely Chang'e Shu wide sleeves, thousands of miles long in the sky, and for the loyal soul dance. Suddenly reported that the human world had ambushed the tiger, and the tears flew down as a downpour.

In contrast to Hu Shi's criticism, he deliberately checked the rules of "Butterfly Love Flower" on the same day and found that Hu Shi's criticism had a certain truth. Because "Butterfly Love Flower" requires the same tone of the upper and lower rhymes, five sentences and four rhymes, a total of eight rhyme feet, in the same rhyme. In accordance with this requirement, Chairman Mao's words are indeed "out of line": the four characters of "willow, nine, have, and wine" in the upper voice belong to the upper sound and twenty-five rhymes, and the word "sleeve" in the lower voice belongs to the twenty-six rhymes of the desound, and the upper voice has rhyme and the desound rhyme, which is in line with the requirements of the word law. However, the three words "dance, tiger, rain" in xiaxia are all upper sound rhymes, which are not common with rhymes and rhymes. From a strictly obedient point of view, Hu Shi's criticism is not bad.

However, Hu Shi criticized "Butterfly Love Flower" as "not a single sentence", not only referring to the rhyme foot, but also to the whole word, which is debatable. Because it only refers to the rhyming foot, it should not be said that "there is no sentence that makes sense", because the upper half of the word obviously rhymes; if it refers to the meaning of the whole word, it should not be said that "there is no one sentence that makes sense", because it is really impossible to see what is wrong with "Butterfly Love Flower", even if it is not comprehensible, with Mao Zedong's great talent, it will not be "without a sentence". Perhaps, Hu Shi's criticism is really a bit of a "nonsense."

Why is Hu Shi "Hu Comment"? Why did Chairman Mao's "Butterfly Love Flowers" break through? Deeply immersed in meditation, the soul was haunted, and I suddenly saw Chairman Mao coming. Chairman Mao was smiling, looking like he was in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, wearing a white shirt on top and shrouded in clouds below his waist. Chairman Mao said:

Hu Shi said not rhyming, yes. The word could have rhymed to the end, but it had to be changed; changing the sentence destroyed the poetry of the time. A poem, or an essay, is the soul that is emphasized in it; if the soul is gone, it rhymes and rhymes, and then it is a shell. Hu Shi said not to rhyme, yes, but I will not destroy the poetry of the time for rhyme. Hu Shi was too old to break through the wall in front of him. Hu Shi wrote some good articles in the 1920s and 1930s, and was also a leader in the new culture, but he never wrote a very decent and touching text later. ”

Chairman Mao said:

"I lost my pride in Yang Jun and lost my willow, and at the beginning of the sentence, this sentence is very common.

Next sentence: The willow is light, straight up to the heavy nine. The Ninth Heaven is the Ninth Heaven. It's a very high realm. Seeking liberation for the people is the realm of the Ninth Heaven.

Asking Wu Ganghe everything, Wu Gang held out osmanthus wine. This sentence is to say that the heroic spirit passes by the Moon Palace, visits the immortals, and the immortals admire the heroic spirit and hold wine for hospitality.

Lonely Chang'e Shu wide sleeves, thousands of miles long in the sky, and for the loyal soul dance. It's a vivid, spectacular picture. Shu wide sleeves, with the meaning of drumming. The ancient warrior dances were all drumming. The drums resounded through the sky, and the long sleeves danced through the sky. Drumming to express welcome; dancing to express excitement. Chang'e was originally content with loneliness, and Chang'e, who was originally content with loneliness, also became high and excited in the face of the return of the heroic spirit.

Last sentence: Ignoring the human world, the tiger was ambushed, and the tears flew down as a downpour. Fu Hu refers to the overthrow of the three mountains, and the people are liberated. The people's liberation, Yang, Liu and countless other revolutionary martyrs' last wishes were realized, so they were moved to tears. This tear fell from the sky and suddenly turned into a downpour. This pouring rain is not only the tears of the heroic soul, but also the catharsis of the author's irrepressible agitation. ”

As he interjected: "The Chairman seems to speak very little of his poetry. ”

Chairman Mao said: "Poetry and poetry are difficult to explain clearly in words. It's very good, it's very good. Poetry and poetry are the unattainable ways. If there is no spiritual connection, the reader can only see the wisdom of the people. My explanation is only a rough idea. ”

Chairman Mao said: "A person's life should be a process of constantly transcending the shadows and walls in front of one's eyes. If people can continue to surpass, they will continue to make progress.

Chairman Mao said: "Hu Shi's mentality is not good. He thinks that the student has betrayed him, so he is not happy... People have unhappy times. If you are not happy, you will scold the mother. Let him scold, and if he is in a good mood, he will not scold. ”

In a trance, I lost where Chairman Mao was. Sudden enlightenment turned out to be Chairman Mao's dream of teaching.

Dreaming, more enlightenment. First of all, relying on the moon to mourn is the tradition of the ancients. Su Shi said: "It is expected that the intestines will be broken every year, the bright moon night, and the short Matsuoka." Naran said, "The hardest thing is to pitied the heavens and the moon, and every night is like a ring, and the night and night are all enlightened." Although "Butterfly Loves Flowers - Answering Li Shuyi" inherits this tradition, Chairman Mao did not let this wall block his eyes. Similarly, with the moon, the ancients were people under the moon, the moon was on the top, and it was the people who looked up to the moon, while Chairman Mao thought of people looking up at the moon and even dancing with the moon. Without the intention of the Ninth Heaven, it would not be possible to reach the Realm of the Ninth Heaven.

Secondly, the ancients mourned their deaths, mostly mourning for themselves, while Chairman Mao's mourning, when pinning their mourning, was more to vent revolutionary heroism and revolutionary romanticism. "Ignoring the news that the human world once ambushed the tiger, the tears flew down as a downpour." This downpour is the tears of excitement of the two loyal souls and millions of martyrs because of the liberation of the people; this tear is the downpour of muddy water left over from old China!

In the end, I thought that the word "dance" in this song was the finishing touch. As a physical language, dance can best express the wild and unrestrained mentality, and the situation is boundless! The dance of Chang'e in the Moon Palace is the heart of the author of the human world, and it is the irrepressible excitement that is dancing, which may be the reason why "Butterfly Love Flower" is out of line. The forty-eighth time in "Dream of the Red Chamber", Cao Xueqin borrowed Daiyu's mouth to comment on the poem: "If there is a strange sentence, even the flat and the virtual reality is not right... Whether the words and phrases are the last thing, the first is that the intention is important. If the meaning is true, the conjunction does not need to be modified, it is good, which is called not to harm the meaning of words. From ancient times to the present, there are thousands of mourning poems in the world, the most famous Su Shi, Naran Zhide, Yuan Shu, He Zhu, etc., each has its own wonderful points, but without exception is the catharsis of personal feelings, while Chairman Mao stands at the height of class and nation to mourn his lover and mourn the revolutionary martyrs.

With regard to "out-of-line," I think that throughout Chairman Mao's life, all the great and brilliant strokes were "out of line," such as the encirclement of the cities by the countryside, Jinggangshan, the four crossings of Chishui, the anti-Japanese guerrilla war, the Chongqing negotiations, the three major battles, and so on, and so on, and so on, and all the more out of line in his life to seek equality for everyone: great, glorious, and correctly out of line!

I don't know how many times I dreamed of Chairman Mao. I don't know how many times I listened to Chairman Mao's lectures in my dreams. The first dream of Chairman Mao was in the 1990s. That was when state-owned enterprises were facing the transformation of the commodity economy, the layoffs were diverted, and the center was worried. I remember that Chairman Mao talked a lot about that time, and I wrote it all down in small prints on the book, but after waking up from the dream, I only remembered one sentence: "Survival is the root of life." The image of Chairman Mao in that day's dream was not clear, but I was convinced in my heart that it was Chairman Mao. Conviction in the heart is the truth. Later, Chairman Mao appeared many times in his dreams and told me about the four crossings of the Red River, about the tactics of movement warfare, about how Peng Dehuai was put in charge, about Chiang Kai-shek, about Sino-Soviet relations, about the Dream of the Red Chamber, about the ancient and modern meritorious deeds, and so on, and so on, and so on, and so on. I don't know that I can actually get a lot of Mao's teachings, and I don't know what kind of fate I have with Chairman Mao, but I know that I am one of the luckiest people in mankind. With this luck, why should the husband ask for it?
